Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método y aparato para determinar un modo de intra predicción de una unidad de codificación. Los modos de intra predicción candidatos de una unidad de codificación de componente de crominancia, que incluye un modo de intra predicción de una unidad de codificación de componente de luminancia, se determinan, y los costos de la unidad de codificación de componente de crominancia de acuerdo con los modos de intra predicción candidatos determinados se comparan para determinar un modo de intra predicción de costo mínimo que es el modo de intra predicción de la unidad de codificación de componente de crominancia.
