Abstract
Un proceso para desacidificar una alimentación de hidrocarburos incluye contactar la alimentación de hidrocarburos que contiene un ácido orgánico con un líquido iónico de fosfonio inmiscible en la alimentación, para producir una mezcla de hidrocarburos y líquido iónico de fosfonio inmiscible en la alimentación; y separar la mezcla para producir un efluente de hidrocarburos que posee un contenido reducido de ácidos orgánicos respecto a la alimentación de hidrocarburos. Opcionalmente, se añade un desemulsificante a cuando menos uno de los pasos de contactado y de separación.
