Abstract
De acuerdo con una modalidad preferida, un método y aparato mejorado para fabricar tubo e intercambiadores de calor entre aletas que incluye una etapa de reducción de diámetro exterior de tubería de reserva a valor muy bajo del valor nominal para unir la tubería en horquillas. El diámetro reducido incrementa la resistencia de las horquillas resultantes y permite la unión eficiente de aletas de intercambiador de calor y placas finales. El método utiliza rodillos pre-medidos que son ajustables para reducir el diámetro de la tubería.
