Bluebird nest

The Veery (Catharus fuscescens) is still a common migratory thrush of Massachusetts forests where it nests on the ground or in very low, dense situations. The veery typically lays four eggs, and it is assumed that this clutch is a work in progress. The Veery is loved for its evening song.

Yesterday there were three eggs in Nestbox #1, and this is what I found today. She appears to have started incubating the eggs, so the brood is complete at either three or four eggs. The fact that this female remained on the nest, seeming pretty much unperturbed, leads me to think that this is the same Mrs. B as for the previous brood in this nestbox.
