Pine Lake Pottery on Instagram: "Part 2 of the Lace Platter - this turned out great 🥳 and it’s huge! I used the 13x17 @gr.pottery.forms and a template I made in Part 1 on my cricut! 👀 A couple tips: 1. Centering a pattern under a template is tricky - I laid the lace and foam template down and then slid my template out to get it centered. 2. Leave the lace in until after you make the tray - it’ll keep the texture perfect. 3. Two foot rings to prevent sagging - a must! I might even do a third next time. 4. Weight on top during the drying process to prevent warping and don’t forget about a slow dry! 5.
