IKEA Havsta as built in bookshelves

This IKEA hack is perfect for 8 foot or 9 foot ceilings. The total combination of HAVSTA and BILLY bookcases used here comes to 94.5 inches. Add a bit of trim at the top to touch the ceiling and you have the look of custom built-in bookcases for much less!

I used 4 ikea havsta cabinet bases with 2 havsta shelves to creat this look. I also pulled out the middle two cabinets a couple inches to create some demension. I love how this turned out and how complete it makes my living room look!
