In the guest room, custom-made cabinets with mirror fronts stand either side of the bed, which has a rich red upholstered headboard. The 18th-century chair is Italian and the 19th-century vases are French; the walls are painted in Farrow & Ball’s French Gray, trimmed with a hand painted Chinese key pattern.
