Plot

Murugappa Sendrayar is a famous businessman who runs multiple successful businesses. Though he is married and has a wife, he marries for the second time. Even after marrying his second wife, Valli Malar, his romance didn’t stop. He has a relationship with a college-goer, Visaka. After some time, Visaka falls in love with Albert and marries him. But, Albert started torturing Visaka after a few days of marriage. As she couldn’t bear this, she sought Murugappa’s help. He orders his bodyguards to kill Albert. Later, the cops arrest Murugappa and his men for murdering Albert. What happened next forms the crux of the story.

Star Performance

Thambi Ramaiah appears in white and white and reflects the trademark businessman. His performance is natural, and his expressions are hilarious, as usual. He also makes the audience feel pity for him with his emotional performance. Samuthirakani has got a strong role. He has done it neatly with his template advice at the end. Suveta Shrimpton is good in the given role. Krish played a negative role.

Analysis

Umapathi debuted as a director, making his father the story’s hero. The characters are designed well. The first half has a lot of double-meaning dialogue. Umapathi’s movies directed by Thambi Ramaiah had this kind of dialogues. He continued the same pattern for his son’s directorial venture, too. The second half is just the opposite of the flirting and romantic scenes-filled first half. Thambi Ramaiah’s potential is well-used in the second half. If they had deleted some scenes in the first half, then the film might have appeared better. Thambi Ramaiah composed the music for the film, and the songs are good.

Despite some flaws in the first half and a couple of template scenes in the second half, the film is watchable once for Thambi Ramaiah’s performance!
