Jigoku Shoujo is a rare find when it comes to story telling and managing to keep you hooked. Each episode has a great story of different "sins" and the outcomes of those involved. Some episodes will leave you feeling happy for the main character while others will make you feel like crap due to the injustice coming from the wish hellgirl grants. She isnt on anyone side and is simply here to observe and later guide those to hell. While she's just a entity living among us (hehe) she has a dark past that lead her to becoming what she is now. You learn about her story as the episodes progress but you never get the real story till the end. Her assistants or her helpers are also great and add alot to the story. The reason I gave this anime a 10 was because all the elements just seem so unique. Its a great watch alone or with friends.
