Anime

Anime that give off romantic/nostalgic vibes, and touch something deep within me, and that for some reason make me feel VERY happy and sad at the same time...
Anime where the atmosphere (settings, artistic style, characters) evokes immense joy and then leaves you feeling empty when the anime ends.

It sounds crazy, but I feel a déjà vu watching these anime, as if in another world I had lived through what happens in these anime.

These animes make me feel "at home" they make me feel familiar and accompanied. They also make me feel important, as it's often easy to project myself onto the protagonist in many of these animes. And, what I want most in this life is to find love, I think. I know it's strange, but I fall in love with many of the waifus that appear in these animes. So, in almost all of these animes, there's at least one waifu I fall in love with, which is why, when the anime ends, I feel nostalgic knowing I'll NEVER see them again (😅).

I added the anime that made me feel those emotions the most so far.
This list is for individuals who can relate to some extent with what I am communicating.
Toradora!
TV, 2008, 25 eps Me:- Author:8
I know that many people don't like this work.

But it warmed my heart a lot and left me with depression when it ended. I really like its comedy, and above all, I love the girl named Minori Kushieda, she became my number one waifu (For her appearance, cheerfulness, intelligence, and perhaps her silent pride), hehe. If you liked this anime, I recommend you check out the manga.

and again with the Minori theme, really for me she was NEVER in love with Ryuuji, and I'm also convinced that her personality is a façade, she has a DARK and MACHIAVELLIAN side, and she's too smart. She's like that, I also feel like Kitamura is pretty much like that

This anime is a dream.
Elfen Lied
TV, 2004, 13 eps Me:- Author:7
the setting, the characters, and especially the relationship between Kouta and Lucy is what gives me a bittersweet taste. I also love the 'essence' and animation of older anime, like from 2005 to around 2014. It's nostalgic and makes me want to always be in that place.
Golden Time
TV, 2013, 24 eps Me:- Author:8
Damn.. I loved it, I don't know, it's by the same author as Toradora so it makes sense. It gives you that nostalgic vibe that kills me. It's similar to the plot of Toradora, I think. I love it because it gives you that familiar feeling of a group of friends having adventures, with a sweet romance in the air.
Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha
TV, 2023, 12 eps Me:- Author:9
When I really like a piece of work, I finish it in 1 or 2 days (if it's not too long). I love anime that are simple and interesting at the same time, and if you also connect with the characters... it's a beautiful feeling, that's what happens to me with this anime. If you have similar tastes to mine, read its synopsis and watch the first episode, see how it goes.
Sora no Otoshimono
TV, 2009, 13 eps Me:- Author:6
This anime is special to me. It's not among my favorites (it might even be a bit bad), but I hold a lot of affection for it and have mixed emotions (I think because of the characters). If you want to experiment with weird anime, this is the one for you.
Koe no Katachi
Movie, 2016, 1 ep Me:- Author:9
This movie creates a very pleasant atmosphere and is straightforward, you don’t have to make an effort to understand anything—just be yourself. The romantic tension between the protagonists is palpable in the air, and it’s a film you can finish in an afternoon, leaving you with an emptiness when it ends. Here, these romantic/nostalgic feelings I describe in this list abound.
Meitantei Conan
TV, 1996, ? eps Me:- Author:9
A prodigy detective who becomes a child because of a drug given by a dark organization. This masterpiece has a VERY good story and characters in my opinion, this made me feel what it's like to be the hero, and yes, also many romantic/nostalgic feelings. Please watch the first episode, you have nothing to lose.
Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo
TV, 2023, 12 eps Me:- Author:8
For a slightly pervy otaku like me, this anime is a lot of fun, but I also got these romantic feelings that I mentioned in this list. It's normal, after all, the protagonist is wooing 100 girls! There's also a lot of fanservice, I think this is the anime where I enjoyed ecchi stuff the most. I also really liked the protagonist—he became my favorite anime protagonist so far because he's not your typical softie, he's a chad who does what he wants, and he's very handsome (I'm not gay).
5-toubun no Hanayome ∬
TV, 2021, 12 eps Me:- Author:9
This is one of the series that made me feel the MOST emotions, maybe because it was one of the first animes I watched, and I think most people feel a lot of affection for their first animes.
Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!
TV, 2012, 12 eps Me:- Author:6
This anime bores me for some reason, but the combination of Kyoto Animation's style (which has an art style that gives me WAY too many "nostalgic" vibes) and the inclusion of such kawaii characters like Rikka gives me a lot of these nostalgic and romantic feelings. I don’t know, but I feel like I actually lived inside this anime with these characters, like I had some kind of romance. I literally feel it like a déjà vu, as if I experienced it in one of my past lives or in another dimension (sorry for my craziness). Seriously, look at an image of the characters from this anime. Doesn’t it give you some kind of nostalgic and loving feeling?
Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen
TV, 2019, 12 eps Me:- Author:9
For me, it's one of the best romances in anime. I laughed a lot at the humor, grew fond of the characters, and also really liked the animation. It has a good number of episodes, which felt like they flew by because they're so fun and straightforward.
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu
TV, 2006, 14 eps Me:- Author:8
I can't explain the emotions this made me feel...
Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san
TV, 2018, 12 eps Me:- Author:7
Where do I start... I'm super young, so not long ago I was in high school, just a regular kid. I always thought it would have been amazing to have a "childhood friend" who could make me feel love, friendship, and a sense of "success"—someone who made me feel like my life was headed in the right direction, you know? In this anime, the protagonist has a friend who's completely in love with him, but he's too shy and immature to reciprocate since he's only about 13 years old. I kind of see myself in the protagonist, and it feels nice imagining having a girl who's in love with me, even if I don't feel the same way about her. But yeah, this anime is the definition of beauty for me. Sorry for going on and on about my thoughts, haha.
Ame wo Tsugeru Hyouryuu Danchi
Movie, 2022, 1 ep Me:- Author:9
Uff, this is pure art, and beautiful art always gives me nostalgic vibes. It also touches something inside me because of the warmth of the group of friends and the beautiful romance. It's very special to me.
Boku dake ga Inai Machi
TV, 2016, 12 eps Me:- Author:8
This work also made me feel quite nostalgic, and of course, since it's about time travel... watch the first episode.
Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman.
TV, 2022, 12 eps Me:- Author:6
Many romantic and melancholic feelings came to me from this show. I love the protagonist Jirou's childhood friend, and yes, I love childhood friends in anime
Shuumatsu no Harem
TV, 2022, 11 eps Me:- Author:6
I watched this show in a YouTube summary and enjoyed it quite a bit. It gave me a lot of nostalgic feelings, and I loved the difficult romance between the protagonist and his 'lost' childhood friend. I think I'd recommend it, especially if you're looking to experience those nostalgic vibes. And I think it's a semi hentai
Kotoura-san
TV, 2013, 12 eps Me:- Author:9
I think most people won't like this anime, but I don't know, I love simple anime with a good hook that makes you want to keep watching, and this is one of them. It's about a girl who can read minds, I think that's all the context you need. It left me with a huge void when I finished it...
Nisekoi
TV, 2014, 20 eps Me:- Author:7
I hold a lot of affection for it, it was one of the first anime I watched, and when I saw it, I had fallen in love with Chitoge. This anime (like the others on the list) conveyed both happiness and sadness to me, knowing that it has an end. But it's an anime that many people won't like.
Kimi no Na wa.
Movie, 2016, 1 ep Me:- Author:8
It's almost my favorite movie (behind 'A Silent Voice'). It's about body swapping, here abundant are the beautiful sensations I described, and an intense emptiness came over me when it ended.
Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet
TV, 2018, 12 eps Me:- Author:7
I think it's a typical romance anime, but for me, this romantic comedy is very special. I felt terrible when it ended because I liked it so much and grew very attached to the characters. I love the romance between the protagonists, even though it's a difficult love because they belong to rival groups that hate each other (like Romeo and Juliet). For some reason, I really enjoy the plot involving a school war. It's like a serious theme, but at the same time, the anime turns it into comedy and sweet romance.
Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru.
TV, 2013, 13 eps Me:- Author:7
I'm not sure but I think most of us otakus were like the protagonist at one time or another, so it's relatable.
Violet Evergarden
TV, 2018, 13 eps Me:- Author:8
The series is a bit long, but I think it's worth it. I watched it on a trip and it made me feel very warm.
Gabriel DropOut
TV, 2017, 12 eps Me:- Author:8
My Favorite Moe Anime. We all loved the designs of the girls. Slice of life stories make me feel these nostalgic sensations too much, surely because I would like to live in this anime and be the protagonist.
Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e
TV, 2017, 12 eps Me:- Author:8
You have to see it for yourself and see how it is.
Midara na Ao-chan wa Benkyou ga Dekinai
TV, 2019, 12 eps Me:- Author:7
It's not at the level of the anime I've already added, but it gives me those nostalgic vibes, and besides it's very short anime that you can finish in one day.
Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai
TV, 2018, 13 eps Me:- Author:7
This has One of my favorite protagonists, he is a protagonist who says what he thinks without filters and is authentic. This anime is very entertaining and interesting, I liked it a lot
Akame ga Kill!
TV, 2014, 24 eps Me:- Author:8
I love the characters, I love the plot, I love the atmosphere, the aesthetics, I love EVERYTHING about this anime. If you're Latino, watch it with the dubbing 😉
Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon
TV, 2017, 13 eps Me:- Author:8
It's very comforting. And yes, obviously I love the boobs in this anime, but I don't think that's the only reason I like it.
Himouto! Umaru-chan
TV, 2015, 12 eps Me:- Author:7
A very Cute Slice-of-Life Anime, with some...
Sakura-sou no Pet na Kanojo
TV, 2012, 24 eps Me:- Author:5
I really loved the relationship and connection between Misaki and Jin... for me, these two are literally the stereotypical popular adolescents at school in anime. And yes, Genki girls like Misaki give me so many nostalgic feelings.

But I have to say that I HATE Gary Stu characters like Jin, or Yuusaku Kitamura from the anime Toradora. I know it sounds silly, but I think it's because of jealousy or something like that that I hate them, I need to think about it more.
Cross Game
TV, 2009, 50 eps Me:- Author:7
Two or three childhood friends... romantic tension in the air, and the death of the person you loved. This anime is pure nostalgia.
Yosuga no Sora
TV, 2010, 12 eps Me:- Author:3
This anime is very disgusting, it's like a semi-hentai with sex between siblings. But it gave me a lot of nostalgic vibes because of the characters, the aesthetics, and the atmosphere. Too bad this anime is crap, but look at the art, it's beautiful and nostalgic
Gin no Saji
TV, 2013, 11 eps Me:- Author:7
I like this it has a calm and motivating atmosphere. It gave me some nostalgic feelings and a few romantic ones between the protagonist and Mikage
Charlotte
TV, 2015, 13 eps Me:- Author:5
I like it, it bored me several times, but it gave me these nostalgic and romantic feelings. I also really like the art and the characters.
Hataraku Maou-sama!
TV, 2013, 13 eps Me:- Author:7
Like the other anime from here, this anime gives me a feeling of comfort and fun, which makes me feel nostalgic when it ends.
Ayakashi Triangle
TV, 2023, 12 eps Me:- Author:6
I enjoy gender-bender animes like this one, and I really liked the romance between the protagonists. This anime isn't very good, but it creates a fun and romantic atmosphere. And there's a lot of fanservice xD
Kenkou Zenrakei Suiei-bu Umishou
TV, 2007, 13 eps Me:- Author:7
I love the vibe among friends; this anime makes you feel so familiar and at home. There's a lot of ecchi, but I like it—maybe because I'm still a teenager (😂). I really enjoyed projecting myself onto the male protagonist and being the center of attention in the story. Besides that, the characters are incredibly endearing to me. I think this has become one of my favorite animes because it made me feel so accompanied.
Jitsu wa Watashi wa
TV, 2015, 13 eps Me:- Author:6
A fairly entertaining anime that left me with an emptiness inside when it ended, to the point that I had to turn to the manga to continue it. It's a romantic comedy with some fantasy elements, and what I liked the most (as with most of the anime on this list) was the romantic tension in the atmosphere.

My favorite girl is Akemi Mikan, the one with glasses and orange hair. She's a genki/deredere/tomboy/smart girl who always reminds me of Minori Kushieda. I'll talk more about this type of girl in future anime I add to the list, but this type of character drives me crazy and also makes me feel a need for them...
Sonic X
TV, 2003, 78 eps Me:- Author:7
When I watched this series, I liked it a lot, and the episodes hooked me instantly. I REALLY like Sonic's world and his spirit of heroism and rebellion. I also enjoy the dynamic he has with Amy; it gave me romantic vibes in the setting. And I know I’m crazy, but I always feel like the pink (female) character and the blue or red (male) character have sexual tension, and I really love shipping them a lot.
