Voice actors Toshiki Kumagai (Kimi wa Meido-sama.) and Tomori Kusunoki (Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha) are starring as Takuto Ira and Atou, respectively. Kazuno began penning the adventure fantasy light novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2017. Micro Magazine published the first volume under its GC Novels imprint in November 2019, featuring illustrations by Jun. The seventh volume went on sale on June 28. Yasaiko Midorihana began drawing a manga adaptation on the ComicWalker web manga portal in March 2020. Kadokawa shipped the sixth volume on December 26. Cross Infinite World licensed the light novel in English in March 2021, with Yen Press licensing the manga this January. The sixth volume of the novel shipped on March 29. | @VivavideoUser2x What we call "modern isekai" (or narou-kei, narouslop, etc), with all those Dragon Quest troopes, NEET/nerd MC getting a OP cheat early on, lolharems, muh Demon Lord, Goddess/human kingdom ritual summon isekai-jin, slavery of beasmen/elfs, has been around for like, almost 15 years. A generation has already passed, and the only differennce is SOME attemps at branching out (civ building, entire class isekai-ed, old guy instead of a teen nip isekai-ed, isekai-ed as a monster, as the villain/boss), who still feel kinda samey (if you watch slime you dont need other civ building, Arifureta is the OG and ultimate class isekai-ed, Overlord for Villain Monster, etc). Problem is, a jap generation of authors has grown up reading mostly Narou junk-food and playing JRPG, they are just copying their referencials without that much thinking... |
