| That was bait but I was thinking about Tropes and cliches that are handled extremely well in the story: 1. Reincarnation: This was the biggest cliche in the series that was handled extremely well, addressing the origin, reason, and consequences. It was one of the most heartbreaking moments in the series. 2. MC's overpowered cheat: The story balanced the cheat perfectly. The grey fog (S** Castle) gave him an edge over most average beyonders. It was not that powerful in the early sequences since you can't utilize its full power until you reach the level of the King of Angels, but it was super useful. 3.Magic system: Not being typical elemental mana pool trope that we have already seen hundreds of times. We have potions, divination, curses, sealed artifacts, ritualistic magic, summoning. The most funny thing was how most Beyonder were vulnerable to guns until sequence 5. Only offensive abilities, no solid defensive power unless you reach demigod stage. 4.Mysterious expert inside your body: This is more of Chinese trope but it was hilarious when Leonardo and Hazel acting like "I am the protagonist" moment especially Hazel who trying to be hero of justice only to get lifetime trauma from 🧐 5.Churches are not two-faced hypocrites as we usually see in Anime. Churches control the world in the story. The best part about churches is how they affected world-building. Like Evernight Church believes in equal opportunities for women, so most women prefer Evernight believers as their husbands. Strom believers are misogynistic and rude. Wisdom Church where only scholars are respected, Earth Mother where women and children are considered sacred. It was really interesting to read, especially about Strom believers. lol. 5.Perfect isekai MC: Ancient Sun God as the perfect isekai MC who has an adamantium level of plot armor, hero of humanity, also being one of the most terrifying gods. When he told Klein 'We meet again, Mysteries' I knew I am reading peak fiction. Jokes aside he has all template of overpowered perfect MC Feel free to add more. may MgoD bless you all🫄 |
