"The manga have more content" I remember reading in a forum where someone mentioned they cut out a lot of stuff from the animated series. but if you have time you read the manga then watch the animated version a couple months later as well. Also Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

this is not a good adaptation, many things are changed or are just straight missing. you should read the manga 100%

I watched it without reading the manga. I think it works wonderfully on it's own.

Read the manga first cause there are a lot of stuff missing but the anime does get the aesthetic and the feel basically perfectly so just watch it after you’re done reading. I doubt it will take you much to finish it

Just watch the OVA and read the Manga after that if you're really interested but skip the anime they cut out a ton of stuff and ended it different.

This anime is good but 100% go for the manga. This movie is a glorified commercial and doesn’t really show the plot of the manga expecting you to already know it. It’s beautiful and worth a watch but do check out the manga first.

@MrRandomGUYS from what I understand it it's an original story not a bad adaptation because going for something different it's not trying to follow the source
