Since I hadn’t seen pumpkin garland like this before, it was a little bit of trial and error. First, I cut a piece of chicken wire the width of my porch stair and attached a variety of pumpkins to it by drilling holes into them and using zip ties to secure. We made the garland with PVC pipe, some leaf garlands from craft stores, halloween string lights, and foam pumpkins! We cut and assembled the PVC to fit our columns and then painted it black. Next we spent a few hours carving our pumpkins while watching scary movies! Then we laid all the pumpkins out and decided how we wanted them arranged.
