In 2008 the building was suddenly evacuated by the fire department citing “imminent danger” due to broken standpipes and a basement full of matzo wheat which could combust at any moment.

When I move to San Francisco, I want to buy and apartment. I want it to be simple and all fancy.

When Ehren Shorday moved into this giant Bushwick loft a little more than six years ago, his main focus was making the industrial space feel like a home.

This revamp is incredible.

The dining area includes vintage Kurt Østervig for Bramin chairs and a Ward Bennett dining table. The bookcase is from Room & Board. The apartment’s spiral staircase was refurbished. Tagged: Dining Room, Table, Storage, Chair, Rug Floor, and Medium Hardwood Floor.
