Ultimately an acceptably-overlong pop-concert experience that will please fans and isn't really meant to do a single other thing; buoyed by a pair of high-caliber diva turns that succeed well beyond where they need to.

Wicked’s thoughtful casting underscores its story of social injustice and the fight for equality.

Having a deep-rooted love of the "Wizard of Oz" (1939) & interviewing 3 Munchkins, I appreciated this musical for the songs and dance--parents I don't recommend bringing children under 8 years, due to frightening scenes involving fire & other dangers.

Despite putting in a lot of effort and even more studio money, “Wicked” doesn’t quite dazzle the way it wants to. It’s an uneven and unwieldy production that packs some early laughs but never soars either as a musical or a fantasy epic.

Sing along screenings? The songs were forgettable. The “dancing” was horrible. Glinda is snarky. Elphaba is a downtrodden Cinderella. I’ll face the world’s wrath - it was awful. Grande is so skinny her face does not have any flesh to form expressions.
