Why do some people dislike the English trilogy so much? I was recently on a Reddit thread where people were saying they were so bad & that those songs were beneath them. & ofc people saying they sold out to try to cater to the west. 3 songs out of over 200 were in all English & that’s catering?
I just really don’t get it. Three fun light hearted songs when the world was going through a challenging time. I do ofc think it’s fine if not everyone likes the songs, but why such vitriol? Some even said those songs made them unstan.
Someone also commented that even bts didn’t like the English trilogy. Have any of the members actually said anything like that?

Even better, we thought it was extinct for 50 years, and then we just found a whole bunch in a meadow. We lost a bright purple flightless bird the size of a large chicken for 50 years.
