Hello! I'm Klein Muçi and I'm a crat coming from SqWiki where I've been an active member since 2013. My online activity mostly deals with so-called "tech-stuff" like extensions, tools, modules, bot approval, system messages, edit filters and interface changes in regard to projects standardization and new-user friendly optimization. Offline I'm active as a wiki-tutor in my country where I help new users learn the basics of the WikiWorld and not-so-new users tackle different tech-problems they may encounter. It is usually through these workshops where most of the aforementioned interface changes originate. Outside of SqWiki, I'm mostly active in MediaWiki/WikiTech/Phabricator/ToolForge tech-spaces where I try to help (and learn!) as much as I can. Because of this I believe I recently got invited at the Wikimedia Hackathon 2023 as one of the "top Gerrit contributors in the Wikimedia area in 2022" but I would say that most of my patches through that time were actually typo fixes instead of code working per se so take that notice with a grain of salt. I'm also active occasionally in SWViewer. When I'm not dealing with any particular project, I find checking the stream for vandalisms while listening to music can be a pretty relaxing activity to pass time. (Actually going through the 2022 talk archives of SWViewer you'll see that I've been a tiny bit involved in some of its technical features too.) Other privileges I currently hold maybe worth of mentioning are admin and interface admin at SqWiki, admin at SqQuote and translator admin and campaign editor at Commons. I've also applied as a volunteer on the back-then-called-OTRS on 2022 but apparently there weren't any help requests coming from Albanian speaking people at the time so there wasn't too much I could do subsequently and was put on hold indefinitely. I can interact in English and Albanian in a native level and I believe to be decent enough in Italian too. I've also been studying Latin for quite some years now (usus est magister optimus) but I doubt that will be of interest in steward duties. This is the third time in a row (and maybe the last) I take part in the Stewards Elections. You can find my old statements in here and here. I've been involved with Wikimedia for 10 years now and I believe I've gained from it as much as I've given it back. I've enjoyed this relationship and I've tried to help wherever I can. This is a continuation of that relationship.

Yes

  1. MF-Warburg (Eligible, checked by Zabe)2023   Like last year, I think Klein Muçi is a compelling candidate who would do well as a steward and I hope the community at large will agree and give them the mop this time. MF-W 21:00, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Ferien (Eligible, checked by Zabe)2023   I think Klein Muçi will be really helpful as a steward especially on the technical side. I don't feel we should expect the same amount of crosswiki anti-vandalism work from every steward if they are helpful in other ways. --Ferien (talk) 21:02, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Good answers to the questions even if a bit unconventional, irrespective of who set it (with particular praise to the way you handled User:1234qwer1234qwer4's follow-up from my question, which was unexpected in a good way, and you were the only one to give a significantly different answer to the question I set for all candidates). Remember that this is a steward role, not a global sysop application. Leaderboard (talk) 07:12, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Leaderboard, thank you for the detailed comment. Your questions and "reviews" have been an element I've grown to look forward during these 3 years of elections and something I'll probably miss experiencing firsthand after this year. Victor Schmidt, hello! May I know what should have been different on my answer according to you on that particular question you mention about lock reasons? 15. Renvoy (Eligible, checked by Johannnes89)2023   Thanks for your long-time dedication to the project, but unfortunately that's no from me. I carefully analyzed your answers to questions and, although, I see great competence in some areas, I am worried about your knowledge of stewards' actions that take place most frequently in public view as all your answers include some sort of inaccuracy. reNVoy (user talk) 11:41, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Renvoy, thank you for the good words! May I have a general idea about the said inaccuracies so I can hopefully better myself in those aspects? — Klein Muçi (talk) 13:53, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Klein Muçi For example, your explanation of Lock evasion was: Same user, different accounts opened for the reason to evade a block that was given to a prior account However it implies that every user which is involved in sockpuppetry anywhere can be globally locked. This is not the case. Global locks are put in place in case of WMF ban evasion or global b(lock) that was already in place. Your explanation of Spambot: User doing disruptive edits of an automatic nature (a lot of the same edit everywhere fast). In most of the cases from my experience, it is different. Take a look a this: account was rightfully so locked but user had only one edit. Higher xwiki activity from your side would be perfect way of learning such things, so I hope you would take it into account. reNVoy (user talk) 14:25, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
