Wikimedia Pennsylvania is the current working name for a plan to create a local Wikimedia chapter for the state of Pennsylvania. This chapter is in a very early state of development, and new information will be added here as we learn it.

1. We made an official announcement on at the Philadelphia Wikimeetup.
2. We are going to be meeting with a lawyer eventually to talk about the bylaws and the process of incorporating.
3. We still need to work on the bylaws, anybody who is interested is welcome to take a look at them and make suggestions.

Wikimedia Pennsylvania is not going to have any membership restrictions based on geographical location. However, it will be difficult for people who live far away to participate in the Chapter.
