I'm not sure a CU will be of much help here. If the users are misbehaving, then the block of the accounts can be justified without checkuser evidence. If the news articles are out of project scope, you can also delete them. —Marco Aurelio 17:38, 3 June 2016 (UTC)

Reason(s): Sorry for bringing this case up again, but I'm hoping for a definitive confirmation that these and previously accounts linked to the vandalism account Mynas belong to the same person. Stpkn has previously been confirmed (Steward_requests/Checkuser/2016-05#Tyrredal.40no.wikipedia). Stpkn is currently blocked for disturbing behaviour since June 7. His edits were related to recent edits from 195.204.59.7, and 195.204.59.0/24 was range blocked (after Stpkn's initial edits) for both unregistered and registered users. 25 minutes later, Stpkn was back editing once before being blocked. I assume his first edits were from 195.204.59.0/24, and then another IP range after the range block. If this last edit (https://no.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Brukerdiskusjon:4ing&diff=prev&oldid=16441447) also links the account to BLÆKK and Hovde, I think the evidence is clear. Hovde has confirmed that he is using the account BLÆKK, and also that he has "taken over" the account Mynas-19. BTW, Stpkk1's only edit was to cast a vote in an ongoing admin election.

Confirmed. You can try to block 85.167.0.0/18, 85.166.64.0/18, 78.156.8.0/21, 176.10.227.88/29, 193.160.28.0/24, 193.91.160.0/21, 193.213.88.0/21, 84.48.9.0/24, 62.92.8.0/22, though there may be some collateral damage. Ruslik (talk) 18:38, 11 June 2016 (UTC)

Reason(s): Diogenes4196 is registered in 8 June, and his only contributions are changing the map of Yuan dynasty (mark Goryeo as a part of Yuan) in many wiki projects. his behavior is very like 769haas does in English Wikipedia recently[3]. 769haas change the map of Yuan in en wp in 8 June [4], just in the some day Diogenes4196 is registered. So, I suspected that Diogenes4196 is a sock puppet of 769haas.

in addition, Diogenes4196 also upload new map, marking Goryeo as a part of Yuan [5] just like 769haas do before [6]

@Bennylin: Sorry to bother, I'm new to this and would appreciate some clarifications. Guntur Irawan's last edit on Wikidata was on 7 April 2016, 07:11, not 2013. Can you explain what you mean by "UA" ? I do believe that all these sockpuppets were blocked by admins on WD, but I was hoping you could identify a scheme to prevent further account creations. Do you mean that the IP pattern is not clear enough to identify a single block opportunity and that the only way to address the issue is to keep blocking new ducks when we detect them? --Laddo (talk) 23:49, 19 June 2016 (UTC)

Reason(s): User has been returning to NL-WQ with self-confessed sock puppets which he says he creates through proxies. Don't need confirmation these are sock puppets, that much is clear, but can you identify the proxies through which these are created and through which he logs in and can these be locked down?
