Thank you very much! :) --Edgar Allan Poe (talk) 11:08, 1 June 2016 (UTC)

Lbrizio@es.wikinews

I'm not sure a CU will be of much help here. If the users are misbehaving, then the block of the accounts can be justified without checkuser evidence. If the news articles are out of project scope, you can also delete them. —MarcoAurelio 17:38, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
Verification is not longer necessary, they are treated students of the journalism career of University of Córdoba, Argentina. Thank you. -- Alvaro Molina (Let's Talk) 18:41, 3 June 2016 (UTC)

Confirmed. You can apply a range block over 2003:68:EC00:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000/40. Ruslik (talk) 20:12, 16 June 2016 (UTC)

"Guntur Irawan" Last edit was on 26 July 2013 at 05:07. Technically all other socks edited from different IPs (same range) using 3 different UA. But I say those are ducks. They're blocked. Bennylin 16:38, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
@Bennylin: Sorry to bother, I'm new to this and would appreciate some clarifications. Guntur Irawan's last edit on Wikidata was on 7 April 2016, 07:11, not 2013. Can you explain what you mean by "UA" ? I do believe that all these sockpuppets were blocked by admins on WD, but I was hoping you could identify a scheme to prevent further account creations. Do you mean that the IP pattern is not clear enough to identify a single block opportunity and that the only way to address the issue is to keep blocking new ducks when we detect them? --Laddo (talk) 23:49, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
Yes, that's what he meant. The user agents were the same but there is no way to block accounts by user agent. Ajraddatz (talk) 23:56, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
Is a range block not feasible? By the way, here's another new account: Special:CentralAuth/GunturIrSub20. - Nikki (talk) 08:22, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
Done by Ajr, also GunturIrSubagiyo18tahun. Am afraid range block is not possible. There's many unrelated users in that range (from loginwiki check)

Mihai Nicolae@ro.wikipedia

Not done We do not match user accounts to IP addresses. Ruslik (talk) 15:35, 30 June 2016 (UTC)

Graaf_Statler@nl.wikiquote

Done. The IP adress range used for those accounts have been globally blocked for 1 year (Open proxy / Public wifi). Linedwell (talk) 09:06, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
