Meta:Requests for CentralNotice adminship/Jeremyb

Like Mono above, I am working on the US portion of WLM. Like last year, I'm primarily involved with maintaining the webserver which is linked from the banner itself.
I am requesting CN adminship so that I can make quick changes in an emergency (or in case I need to make changes while Europe is asleep). e.g. I just pinged Romaine in the WLM channel and got no response so then I tried #wikimedia. I'd like the banner to be disabled for the US for ~40-60 mins (depending on how long the work I'll do in between takes to finish).
I also would be interested in helping with content or coding of banners once in a while but that is not the primary reason for this request. (Pharos has asked for my help with banners on numerous occasions and I've complained to FR folks a few times about their banners. I guess I would usually be cloning a banner and tweaking my copy unless I was already coordinating with the banner's owner.) I'm not too familiar (yet) with the rules for CN admin but AIUI, CN admins have sufficient bits to be able to edit the interwiki map. I would be willing to help maintain that list as well if permitted. (but I guess that's out of scope because it's not related to CentralNotice?)

- I don't think that bit about the Inerwiki map is right. CNA's have the "editinterface" right, which if I'm not way off base, allows editing of MediaWiki namespace pages, but not ones that are other namespace fully protected. Courcelles 21:40, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- I don't know much about his work for WLM, but I know he's always very helpful on IRC to me (for example with OTRS things). Trijnsteltalk 16:33, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
