Explanation:
Bangun-Bangun or also known as Ati-Ati commonly planted as green salads and flavouring in cooking. Young shoots use as ingredients for the sauce tempoyak( Malaysian cuisine) . It is also used as an ingredient for rice side dish. Bangun-Bangun easily reproduce through stem and leaf . Is the preferred medium loam soil with good drainage and sun exposure .
Usage:
Bangun-Bangun is known in Malay and Chinese medicine mainly to be a remedy for cough ,nausea , headaches and digestive problems .The leaf is brewed with hot water and put a little sugar
before drinking. The juice can also be a cure for asthma , cough and bronchitis . The leaves are crushed can be used as an antidote to poisonous insect bites and sunburn by pasting the leaves onto the affected areas .
