PRODUCT INFORMATION

Age: 3-6 YEARS

PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE TOY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

The product requires 3 x 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries (supplied). The batteries included in the product at the time of purchase are supplied only for demonstration at the point of sale and must be replaced with new alkaline batteries immediately after purchase.

WARNINGS

For your child’s safety: WARNING!

Not suitable for children under 36 months. Long strings. Danger of strangulation.

Plastic bags and other components which are not part of the product (e.g. ties, fasteners, etc.) must be removed before use and kept out of reach of children. Choking hazard and suffocation risk.
Regularly inspect the product for signs of wear and damage. If the product is damaged do not use it, and keep it out of the reach of children.

Do not use the product for anything other than its recommended use.
This toy should only be used under the supervision of an adult.

OPERATION OF THE GAME

Switch the game on using the 4-position switcher (A). A sound and/or light will indicate that it is on. Switching the toy on activates all the electronic functions. There are 4 game modes (B): mute mode allows you to play with the microphone and voice distortion effects, but does not play tunes and songs. The other modes POP, ROCK and RAP play tunes and songs of the selected music style and allow the child to sing over the backing tracks.

When the game is switched on, the microphone is activated (C), and the voice distortion effects can be used by pressing the 3 buttons on the foot of the product (D).
The 3 keys activate the following features, respectively: alien voice effect (Fig.1), robot voice effect (Fig.2), monster voice effect (Fig.3). After a short period of inactivity the product enters stand-by mode. Press any key or move the switcher to reactivate the electronic functions.

REMOVING AND INSERTING REPLACEABLE BATTERIES

Batteries must only be replaced by an adult. To replace batteries:

Unscrew the battery compartment cover using a screwdriver. Remove the dead batteries and fit 3 new 1.5 V AAA batteries with their poles in the right direction (as indicated on the product). Fit the cover back on and tighten the screw.

Always keep batteries and tools out of reach of children.

Always remove flat batteries from the product to prevent any possible liquid leaks from damaging it.
If the batteries are leaking liquid, replace them immediately, making sure to clean the battery compartment; thoroughly wash your hands if they come into contact with the liquid.

Always remove the batteries if the product will not be used for a long period of time.
Never mix alkaline, standard (zinc-carbon) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

Do not mix old and new batteries.
Only use alkaline batteries of the same type or equivalent to the type recommended for the correct functioning of this product.

Do not throw dead batteries into a fire or leave them in the environment; they must be disposed of through waste sorting.
Do not short-circuit the power terminals.

Do not try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries: they may explode.
The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended as the product may not work properly.

If rechargeable batteries are used, remove them from the product before recharging and recharge them only under the supervision of an adult.
Remove the batteries from the product before disposing of it.

This product is not designed to be used with replaceable lithium batteries. WARNING Improper use may cause hazards.

THIS PRODUCT COMPLIES WITH EU DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EC

The crossed bin symbol on the appliance indicates that the product, at the end of its life, must be disposed of separately from domestic waste, either by taking it to a separate waste disposal site for electric and electronic appliances or by returning it to your dealer when you buy another similar appliance. The user is responsible for taking the appliance to a special waste disposal site at the end of its life. If the unwanted appliance is collected correctly as separate waste, it can be recycled, treated and disposed of ecologically; this avoids a negative impact on both the environment and health, and contributes towards the recycling of the product’s materials. Illegal disposal of the product by the user will result in administrative sanctions provided by law. For further information regarding the waste disposal services available, contact your local waste disposal agency or the shop where you bought the appliance.

The crossed bin symbol on the batteries or product packaging indicates that, at the end of their life, they must be disposed of separately from domestic waste, either by taking them to a separate waste disposal site for batteries or by returning them to your dealer when you buy similar rechargeable or non-rechargeable batteries. The chemical symbols Hg, Cd, Pb, printed under the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol, indicate the type of substance contained in the batteries: Hg=Mercury, Cd=Cadmium, Pb=Lead. The user is responsible for bringing batteries, at the end of their life, to the appropriate collection facilities in order to facilitate treatment and recycling.

The correct disposal of your old toy will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health and favour the recycling of the materials of which the product is made. Illegal disposal of the product by the user will damage the environment and human health. For further information regarding the waste disposal services available, contact your local waste disposal agency or the shop where you bought the appliance.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the toy using a soft, dry or damp fabric/microfibre cloth to avoid damaging the electrical circuit. Do not clean using detergents or solvents.
When not being used, store the product away from sources of heat, dust and humidity.

WARRANTY

The product is guaranteed against any lack of conformity under normal use as specified in the instructions.
The warranty shall not therefore apply in the case of damage caused by improper use, wear or accidental events.
For the duration of the warranty on conformity defects please refer to the specific provisions of applicable national laws in the country of purchase, where appropriate.
