The EnergyHub Wall is a 14 kW power distribution unit manufactured by Ferroamp AB. It is designed for electrical installations and features a four-pole contact for DC power, a five-pole contact for AC power, and three current transformers (CT clamps) for monitoring purposes. The unit comes with a CT connection cable of 10 meters in length. The product dimensions are provided in millimeters.

- Risk of electric shock and arcing if the product is not handled in accordance with the manual’s instructions.

Instal·lació
The installation section will take you through the entire process step by step on how to install an EnergyHub Wall 14 kW.
NOTERA! Ferroamp does not accept responsibility for damage caused to the product due to improper or negligent installation.
NOTERA! Ferroamp recommends that end sleeves be used for all connections with multi-wire conductors.
- Don’t work alone. In an emergency, the presence of another may be necessary!
- The electrical installation must comply with national/local laws and regulations, appropriate standards, and applicable requirements from recognized organizations.
- The electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified installer and in accordance with the applicable electrical standards and safety regulations
- Ensure that the location of the EnergyHub Wall never constitutes an obstacle to emergency evacuation, in accordance with national and local legislation.

Col·locació
NOTA! Ferroamp is not responsible for installations that do not meet the criteria listed below.
Make sure that the location you choose for installation meets the following criteria:
- Indoor environment with protection from direct sunlight and rain
- The space is well ventilated (if the EnergyHub Wall is placed in a cabinet or similar enclosure, mechanical ventilation must be provided to ensure sufficient heat dissipation)
- The ambient temperature must not be less than 0 °C and not exceed 45 °C
- The environment should be non-condensing, the relative humidity should be below 95%
- Wall and fastening material must be able to carry at least 30 kg
- When assembling, it must be taken into account that the product can reach temperatures up to 70°C.
- Make sure to have free space around EnergyHub in as shown in the following figures:
Attach the mounting plate to a place that meets the criteria described above. Flatten the side against the wall, see figure below. Lift up your EnergyHub and hang it on the intended jumper, the top of the mounting plate, see figure below. Make sure it sits securely before letting go. With the two included locking screws, lock your EnergyHub to the bottom plate of the mounting plate. Now it’s in place!
Connexió a la centralita

Connect the EnergyHub Wall to the building’s substation as shown in the figure below. Secure with B20 fuses for Energyhub 14 kW.

AC contact
The five-pole connector should be used to connect the EnergyHub to the AC network. Proper connection is marked on the connector. See image below for schematic image:
The picture above shows how the AC cable should be connected, for orientation of the connector see below.
1,2,3 represents the phases. However, please note that the phase sequence does not affect the function.
- Assegureu-vos que el conductor de terra i neutre de la xarxa de CA estiguin connectats a les posicions correctes del connector. Es recomana posar un interruptor de treball extern al cable de CA d'entrada per tal d'apagar fàcilment el sistema.
- Make sure the AC plug is properly plugged in before energizing the EnergyHub.
DC-contact (DC grid connection)
Avís, l'Ehub té condensadors al costat de CC que poden mantenir la càrrega fins i tot després que el dispositiu estigui desconnectat del costat de CA. Espereu almenys 5 minuts després d'apagar el dispositiu abans de manipular el connector de CC
NOTERA! If the system will not have a DC grid, you can skip this section (e.g. if the system is only to be used for phase balancing and measurement/data collection).
NOTERA! The dc grid cable does not need to have an M-conductor if it is not to be a Powershare installation (An interconnected DC voltage network between EnergyHubs).
- Bring out the installation kit for the DC connector. The installation kit includes:
- 1 x 4-pin hand contact
- 1 x two-piece contact housing
- 1 x strain relief rail
- 2 x Phillips Screw (11mm) for Rail
- 2 x flatscrew (18mm)
- Contacts the DC connector as shown in the figure below. Use end sleeves.
NOTA: The M conductor is contacted only when you connect several EnergyHubs with each other.
- Make sure that all conductors are screwed on.
- Make sure that the strain relief is around the outer cable as shown in the figure on the right marked with 2.
- Make sure the EnergyHub is turned off before plugging in the DC connector.
- Screw in the fixing screws located on the DC connector so that the DC connector cannot be detached without tools.

- If it is a Powershare system, it is recommended to put an external switch on the DC power grid.
Transformadors de corrent (TC) - connexió i col·locació
- Route the cables from the current transformers through the cable entry, the length of the cable is 10 m.
NOTERA! To extend the cable, you need to use a twisted pair cable. The total loop resistance must be below 10 Ohms. See the table below for the ratio of conductor area to maximum cable length between the current transformers and the Energy Hub.

- Connect the CT cable to the CT connector as shown in the following figure. From left to right; white, red, blue, black, yellow and green.
- Ensure connection and any cable extension is correct by measuring the resistance between the pairs (red/white, black/blue, green/yellow). All pairs should show similar resistance when properly installed.
- Attach the contact housing. Make sure that the strain relief in the contact housing attaches around the insulation of the CT cable.
- The current transformers (CT) must be placed on the incoming AC cable of the building. A clamp around each phase, L1, L2 and L3. The order and direction of the current transformers does not matter as this is detected automatically. The important thing is that each phase has a current transformer around it. They must be placed between (B) and (C). See the figure below

NOTA! The current transformers do NOT sit between (C) and (D) or between (C) and (E).
- Be careful when the current transformers are mounted around the cable, it is important that the clamp closes properly, it should not be possible to loosen them without lifting the unloading latch.
Ethernet-connection
To enable reporting of measurement data and updating of software in EnergyHub, a working connection to the Internet via Ethernet is required.
The following requirements apply to the internet connection:
- IPv4 address as well as working DNS server and NTP server are assigned by using DHCP.
- Outbound traffic to the internet must work flawlessly. Information about specific ports and more details can be found on www.ferroamp.com in the knowledge base.
