Parantezli açıklama
editMerhaba BlueTime93.

P16 and P361
editHello; would be helpul not removing P16 but keeping both transport network (P16) and part of (P361). Thanks. Bouzinac 💬●✒️●💛 19:57, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
- Hi. I'm sorry, I accidentally removed it because it was translated into Turkish incorrectly. Thanks. -- bluetime93 💬 20:04, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
Zetinburnu
editHi, may I ask you to split Zetinburnu as there are multiple networks, as per the WD:Bonnie and Clyde rule ? Even if there is only one trwiki article, there might be splitted articles in various wikis and it's better to split smaller items, having them linked together. The problem is more visible at Map of Istanbul Tram (query). Bouzinac 💬●✒️●💛 15:06, 3 August 2022 (UTC) [répondre] Bouzinac 💬●✒️●💛 15:08, 3 August 2022 (UTC)

Enwiki and trwiki fix
editHi, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%87al%C4%B1k%C3%B6y_railway_station + https://tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/K%C4%B1rkikievler_Tren_%C4%B0stasyonu ==> enwiki seems to say station closed, whist trwiki says otherwise. Could you check please ? Bouzinac 💬●✒️●💛 10:02, 22 September 2024 (UTC)

- Sorry for my late reply. Çalıköy railway station is in operation, but Kırkikievler railway station is closed. I checked on TCDD Taşımacılık's website.
- I don't understand what is wrong here. --bluetime93 💬 07:03, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
Demirköprü railway station
editHi, I see you currently deal with railway stations, so maybe you could deal with the following issue?
Is Uzunköprü border gate (Q25475636) the same as Demirköprü railway station (Q21682412)? The coordinates for Uzunköprü border gate (Q25475636) are shown in the middle of the river, where based on imagery there's nothing but the bridge's pillar. Is there really a customs/border gate on that bridge or is the item referring to Demirköprü railway station (Q21682412)?
Thanks in advance. Jimkats (talk) 23:57, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. Technically, Demirköprü railway station (Q21682412) is a station, while Uzunköprü border gate (Q25475636) is a border crossing, so they are not the same. The structure at the beginning of the bridge seen in satellite photos is a border post, and it can be observed that there is no station structure at Demirköprü railway station (Q21682412) at the provided coordinates. In Uzunköprü border gate (Q25475636), however, the middle of the bridge is considered the international border, and there is no additional structure there. As a customs facility, the Uzunköprü railway station (Q7905177), located approximately 10 kilometers away, is used. I updated the Wikidata item based on the kilometer information visible on this map. --bluetime93 💬 08:20, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Bovlb.
I notice that you have blanked an item, either fully or partially, by removing some combination of sitelinks, claims, and labels, or by replacing valid labels with strings such as “DELETE THIS”. It's possible that you did this because you were attempting to delete the item, but I’m afraid that’s not how things work here.
If you want to request deletion of an item, please do so at Wikidata:Requests for deletions. Even once you have done this, you should still not be blanking the item in anticipation of its deletion. There are several important reasons for this:
- Anyone reviewing the item will want to assess for themselves whether it ought to be deleted. If you have already removed information, then this may make it harder for them to determine correctly whether the item is notable. In particular, a sitelink usually implies that the item is notable, so they need to be reviewed carefully.
- Your deletion request may be declined. In this case, your removals will need to be reverted.
- The item may be deleted but subsequently undeleted.
- The item may be a duplicate of another item. In this case, the two items will be merged using a merge tool, and everything will be copied from one to the other. It is helpful for this merge for the item to retain as much information as possible. Incorrect labels like “DELETE THIS” may end up in the result.
- Wikidata administrators have access to a special searchable archive of deleted items. This is used, for example, to determine if a newly-created item is a recreation of one that has been created in the past. For this reason, it is helpful if the deleted version of an item is as complete as possible.
- If we remove a sitelink, but the article remains on the client project, then someone on that client project may end up creating a new item, duplicating the original.
It is also possible that you were blanking an item because you want to repurpose it for another concept. Do not do this! There is no shortage of item numbers, and we never reuse an item for a different concept.
If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Bovlb (talk) 18:10, 31 December 2024 (UTC) --Bovlb (talk) 18:10, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
