Everything is so incredibly precise & tight & perfect in so many ways that repeated listens are a requirement so as to make sense of it all & resolve the intricacies! For once, I grabbed a code for this one instead of buying it. Thanks for that, legend! If you weren't so lucky and read this, just buy Agenesis right now. It's not that far from The Illusion of Reach, and that is by all means superb. Although being atmospheric and emotional, it is also punishingly raw and depressive. Three long tracks, all of them black metal behemoths, of which two have instantly propelled themselves among my favourite Déhà songs. Improvised in just two days, this is insane!
