Eve "Sidnev" Commandeur is a Dutch classic Tetris player. At CTWC 2022, she ended the Big Six's reign of dominance by sweeping Alex T in the round of 16. Seeded #1 the following year, Sidnev would reach the finals (the first from a PAL region[1] to do so), ultimately losing to Fractal in a reverse sweep.
After being named the best player to have never won a CTM title by aGameScout[2] in March 2024, she would finally break through and win her first Masters Event in August. Sidnev, prior to that month, had competed in 29 editions beginning in May 2021, advancing to the semis 17 times, in which she reached the finals on six separate occassions. She bolstered her victory by winning CTW Battle Royal 5 in September: an elite field containing the seven best players in the world that month.[3]
In her native PAL, Sidnev was the 2021 European Champion; defending her title in 2022. She also won the second and third editions of CTM PAL.
