The "On the Cover" article from the November issue of Experimental Mechanics is freely accessible until November 28th.

Experimental Mechanics is proud to welcome Maarten de Boer and Martha E. Grady to the editorial board as Technical Editors.

Experimental Mechanics is a journal focusing on novel experiments to characterize the mechanics of materials, structures, and systems. The journal’s coverage includes experimental mechanics at both large and small scales and extends to fields at the intersection of disciplines including physics, chemistry, and biology.

  • The journal aims to be the voice of the worldwide experimental mechanics community and to amplify the impact of novel research.
  • Welcomes research papers, review articles, and brief technical notes on emerging mechanics and materials technologies of high societal impact.
  • Topics of interest span a wide range of experimental methods and applications.
  • Papers on experimental mechanics applied to bio- and nanotechnologies, single cells, tissues, and biosystems are encouraged.
  • The publication is committed to shaping the future of experimental mechanics!
