Project Waterloo Update - La Haye Sainte

I am striving to get the Warlord Games La Haye Sainte Collector's edition fully completed by mid-September.  I will be featuring this large collection of 170+ miniatures in a soon to be announced book.

If you have been following me on Twitter you will see the progress I have been making.  I have painted 127 of the miniatures so far and there is light at the end of the tunnel.  I am slowly constructing the farmhouse itself.  I really can not wait to finish this project.  It is going to look epic and will be a great achievement.

So far I have painted:

36 x French Light Infantry
36 x Hanoverian Line Infantry
36 x French Infantry
6 x Luneburg Light Infantry
5 x King's German Legion Infantry
5 x French Engineers
1 x Lieutenant Vieux
1 x Farmer's Wife
1 x Marshall Ney
1 x Nassau Officer Extinguishing Fire
Resin Sandpit

All the plastic figures are done, the three line battalions have taken the most time, its now just doing all the little blister packs of metal troops and the terrain!

Polish Vistula Legion - Part 2

I have added a further 23 Figures to my Polish Vistula Legion Force.  I painted up 12 Fusiliers, 4 Grenadiers, 6 Voltigeurs and a Mounted Officer.  The Voltigeurs and the Mounted Officer are from Front Rank and the Remaining miniatures are from Warlord Games.

They took a while to paint and were rather tedious but I now have 43 Painted Figures for Sharp Practice and can expand upon this force with ease.

Time for a short break from Painting Naps, there is about 30 odd paints used for these chaps!

A Small Force of Austrians For Sharp Practice

With the aim of playing a game with a close friend of mine I painted up some Napoleonic Austrians for Sharp Practice.  In addition to what I had already painted, I added 4 more Line Infantry, 2 NCOs, 1 Officer, 6 Skirmishing Jaegers and an Artillery Piece.  Of note the Artillery Piece was of poor casting quality from Perry Miniatures which is usually excellent.  I didnt put too much effort into the gun as a result.  All my Austrians are from Perry.  The plastics are brilliant.

I am most pleased with this little force and SP2 is a brilliant game! I have included some bonus pictures of our 2 games.
