The Hippie Song and Neil Young

Neil Young, in his ongoing attempt to bring attention to the insanity of war, has created a list of anti-war songs on his website of over 3000 songs by current artists. It's an incredible selection of tunes and I encourage you to check them out The Hippie Song is currently sitting at 86, the more it is clicked on, the higher up the list it goes. The numbers change every week so it's probably easier to search for Lenore on the page. I find it encouraging that so many artists continue to speak for…

Upcoming Benefit Show

I'm really pleased to have been asked to take part in an Artscan Circle Benefit concert in Uxbridge, ON on Sat., March 1st. (see gig listings for details). Bluegrass band Silverbirch hosts a charity event every year and this year's chosen charity is one dear to my heart as it helps brings music to children who would not otherwise experience it. www.artscancircle.ca

House Concerts

House concerts have been around in the U.S. for a long time but they are just beginning to take off in Canada. They have become my absolute favourite type of gig - most of my US tour dates last year were house concerts. If you'd like to have me come and play in your home, please drop me an email.
