Verbum hangeul (vel hangul) in abecedario Coreano scriptum.

Abecedarium Coreanum, post annum 1912 saepissime dictum Hangeul et Hangul (Coreane: 한글 Hangeul in Corea Meridionali et 조선글 Chosŏn'gŭl in Corea Septentrionali), est indigena linguae Coreanae alphabetum, separatum a logographico Sino-Coreano systemate appellato hanja. Saeculo quinto decimo ab eruditis Coreanis excogitato, hoc alphabetum nunc est publicum Coreae Septentrionalis et Coreae Meridionalis systema scriptionis; publicum quoque in Yanbian Coreana Praefectura Autonoma Sinarum.

Abecedarium Coreanum est alphabetum phonemicum, in truncis (vel gregibus) syllabicis ordinatum. Quisque truncus consistit in saltem duabus ex viginti quattuor litteris (jamo), saltem unum ex quattuordecim consonantibus et unum ex decem vocalibus habentibus. Hi trunci possunt scribi ad libram, a laevo ad dextram in ordinibus a summa ad fundum, vel ad perpendiculum, a summa ad fundum in columnis a dextra ad laevam.
