While Sultan’s Blackjack follows the standard live dealer blackjack rules, it also comes with a range of added-value features specific to the 7-seat Evolution Live Blackjack: two side bets (21+3 and Perfect Pairs), the Bet Behind feature allowing players to bet on a hand dealt to another player and share the outcome, and the “DEAL NOW” button to speed up the pace.

Sultan’s Blackjack Objective

The goal is to get a hand value higher than the dealer's card count but without exceeding 21. The best hand is Blackjack, which occurs when the first two cards' values total 21. This is a multi-seat game, where up to seven players compete solely against the dealer, not each other. 

Sultan's Blackjack bet limits are wide at €5 - 5,000.

How to Play Sultan’s Blackjack 

The game is hosted by a dealer and allows up to 7 players to be seated at the table. It is played with 8 standard 52-card decks. 

The RTP is listed as follows:

• Blackjack -99.29%.
• Perfect Pairs bet - 95.90%.
• 21+3 bet - 96.30%.

The theoretical payout percentage for always taking the early cash-out offer is 96.80%.

Card values:

• Cards from 2 to 10 are worth their face value.
• Jacks, Queens and Kings each have a value of 10.
• Aces are worth 1 or 11, whichever is more favorable to the hand. A soft hand includes an Ace worth 11.

After the players have placed their bets, the dealer deals one card face-up to each player, starting from the dealer’s left and moving clockwise to end with the dealer. The dealer then deals a second card face-up to each player while the dealer's second card is dealt face-down. The value of the player’s initial hand is displayed next to the cards.

Insurance

When the dealer's upcard is an Ace, the player has the option to buy insurance, paying half their main bet, to protect against the dealer having Blackjack, even if the player has it. The dealer then checks their downcard for Blackjack. If the dealer doesn't have Blackjack, play continues. If the dealer does and the player doesn’t, the dealer wins. If both the player and the dealer have Blackjack, it's a tie, and the player’s bet is returned. However, if the dealer's upcard is a 10 or face card, insurance isn't offered, and the dealer doesn't check for Blackjack.

Double, Hit or Stand

After confirming that the dealer doesn't have Blackjack with their initial cards, players have the opportunity to enhance their hands. The dealer moves clockwise around the table, offering players the option to receive additional cards.

If your initial hand isn't 21, you have two choices. You can Double, doubling your bet and receiving only one more card. Alternatively, you can Hit, receiving another card to improve your hand's value. You can Hit multiple times until you're satisfied, then choose to Stand.

Splitting is an option if you start with a pair of cards of the same value. This divides your pair into two separate hands, each with a bet equal to your original. After receiving a second card for both hands, you can Hit to enhance their values. Once content, you can Stand. However, if you Split a pair of Aces, you'll only get one more card per hand without the option to Hit.

Cash Out

After the initial deal, if the dealer doesn't have Blackjack, you have the option to Cash Out. Choosing this ends the hand, returning the amount displayed in the Cash Out button. The payout ratio varies based on your hand's total and the dealer's face-up card. Cash Out only applies to your main bet and can be managed in Settings.

If your hand exceeds 21, you bust and lose the bet. Once all players have acted, the dealer reveals their down-facing card. The dealer must Hit on 16 or less and Stand on soft 17 or more. Remember, a 'soft hand' includes an Ace valued at 11.

You win if your final hand is closer to 21 than the dealer's or if the dealer busts. A tie results in a push, returning your bet. Cashing out grants the value shown when the option is offered.

Blackjack is only possible with the initial two cards. A split pair resulting in 21 isn't considered Blackjack, so Blackjack beats a split pair's 21.

Side Bets

Evolution’s Live Blackjack comes with two optional side bets - Perfect Pairs and 21+3 - that can be placed in combination with the main Blackjack bet. Players can win on any side bet, irrespective of the later outcome of the main bet.

Perfect Pairs

The Perfect Pairs side bet gives you a chance to win if your first two cards make any pair. There are three types of pairs with different payouts:

• Perfect Pair - same suit
• Colored Pair - different suits of the same color
• Mixed Pair - different suits of a different color

21+3

The 21+3 side bet gives you the chance to win if your first two cards plus the dealer's upcard make any of the following winning combinations, each with a different payout:

• Suited Trips - an identical triplet
• Straight Flush-in numerical sequence and of the same suit
• Three of a Kind - same value but of different suits
• Straight-in numerical sequence but of different suits
• Flush - non-sequential cards of the same suit, e.g. 2, 6 and 10 of Clubs.

Bet Behind Feature

The Bet Behind feature enables you to bet on another player's hand and share their outcome, with payouts identical to regular bets. You can use Bet Behind whether or not you're seated at the table or playing your own hand, but you can't bet on your own hand.

Simply place a Bet Behind bet on any active spot at another player's seat during the betting window. Your bet is refunded instantly if that player opts out of the round.

Each seat at the Blackjack table displays a nickname identifying the player making decisions for that hand. While betting behind, you can choose to place insurance bets against the dealer's Ace and decide in advance whether to double or split when the player you're betting behind does. If they cash out, the same applies to your bet.

Adjust these settings later by clicking the Settings button and selecting the BET BEHIND tab.

The Hot Players icon highlights the player with the longest winning streak, showing the number of consecutive wins. Losing ends the streak and removes the Hot Players icon.

Deal Now

The DEAL NOW button becomes active when you're seated at a specific Blackjack table and have wagered at least the minimum amount. Click or tap this button to confirm your bet, which will be visible to other players. If all players click DEAL NOW, the round may start before the betting ends.

Payouts

• Blackjack pays 3:2.
• Winning hand pays 1:1.
• If the dealer has Blackjack, insurance pays 2:1. 
• Cash Out pays 0.4-1.77x.
