Casino Barrier Saint-Malo

Saint-Malo is a commune in Brittany, in the department of Ille-et-Villaine. The population of it and the immediate area, is just shy of 50,000. Tourism is the 2nd largest industry, so you shouldn’t have many problems finding accommodations, restaurants and night life. When it’s time to gather souvenirs or supplies, head to one of four shopping malls nearby, like the La Madeleine, Discovery Mall, Grand Mast Mall and the Cezembre shopping centre. Dine in Le Carre, with its breath-taking views looking across the bay. The restaurant serves lunches and dinners and is open from noon until 2 pm and 7 pm until 10 pm, Sunday, Monday and Thursday, noon to 2 and 7 to 10:30 on Friday and Saturday, and closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Find modern French cuisine in Restaurant l’Atelier with dishes such as foie gras and salmon. Ask your server about their dish of the day and complement your meals with a bottle of wine from the ample selection. Enjoy your meals out on the wooded terrace in Le Bulot, serving fusion dishes. Le Bistro de Jean is very popular during lunch.

Find all your favourite cocktails in the casino bar, or try L’Alchimiste, L’Aviso, with its selection of over 300 types of beer and live music, Le Café du Coin, or Le Cunningham, also with live entertainment. Visit the ramparts, which has various statues scattered about, such as those dedicated to Duguay-Trouin, Mahe de la Bourdannais and Jacques Cartier. Town Hall is housed within Saint-Malo Castle, also with the Museum of History of the City and Country Malouin. Located in the historic centre you can find the Saint-Vincent Cathedral of Saint-Malo. Other attractions include the Saint-Malo Aquarium, Jacques Cartier Manor, Cezembre Island, and Chateau de Saint-Malo.
