I look so forward to hearing your race track stories. It is like old home week for me to read your stories! You bring me back to a lot of fond memories growing up.

Nice hit for u in the first race...gave u some extra cash to play with on the house. I love to play exactas. The only kind of bet i make besides the trifectas. What tracks do you have there in Ohio? Im sure at some point i have played at your hometown racetracks on simulcast.

Hi Tony,

I always enjoy the money found more. There seems to be more of an exciting feel to it....like is it going to be my lucky charm....this is a sign of good luck today...etc.

I remember when i was fresh out of h.s. and just started a partime job. Of course there was the 2 week delay of getting a pay check. I did not have a penny to my name and i was at lunch. I remember thinking i was starved and  wish i had a few bucks to eat.

Instead i just take a stroll down the street and look in store fronts. Something catches my eye. Blowing in the breeze on the ground was a 5 dollar bill! My wishful thinking paid off. I was never so excited to find 5 bucks before.

Needless to say i ate lunch that day.....and it was the best lunch i ever had!! A nice find like that when least expected has to be the greatest treasure of all!

That was just the preseaon game..........lmao! I can only imagine what Super Bowl day must be like at your house!!!  But i do have to agree...nothing brings out the passion like football.

I love to live varcariously through your posts.  I bet football games years ago, but quit when I had to take out one of those high cost, "shady" loans to pay off the bookie.  I remember the guy at the loan place asking me what I was going to do with the money.  I told him we were going to take a cruise.  :)  And some cruise it was!

So you are betting Detroit?  What's your theory on that?  I know (I think) they won all their preseason games last year and then didn't win a game in the regular season.  Are they going to be better this year or are you going by the past?

That was unbelievable Tony.  The game was on the line, 3rd and 1, and he threw the long ball.  Was great!

To be real though, both teams did not look very good.  Not because I am partial to Green Bay, but Chicago got a lot of calls in their favor that they didn't deserve.  Even when they were out of challenges and time outs and everything else, the officials called a challenge on the 2 point conversion.  I couldn't believe it!  I swear the refs were from Chicago.  Geesh!
