    Ciao,

    HI,

In recent times the topic of gambling has become a much discussed topic.

The aspect that is treated most is always that linked to the control of gambling addiction.

And the phrase that is increasingly repeated is: we must protect vulnerable people.

In fact, among individuals capable of understanding and wanting, there are no vulnerable people.

However, there are situations and circumstances that create vulnerability in people.

In my opinion there are two situations that characterize our times and favor gambling addiction: the economic crisis and the spiritual one.

In particular the lack of work and the lack of faith in God.

I understand that what I say may sound strange but gambling, fortunately only for some, has become a sort of last resort, the only hope.

And for this, the state is responsible above all, which through wrong policies has killed the world of work, and the religious institutions which, through questionable behavior, have distanced man from God.

In short, the gestures and rituals of those who purchase a scratch card are no different from those of a believer who holds the image of a saint in his hand.

And the player in front of a slot machine is a bit reminiscent of someone who lights a votive candle.

If gambling is taking on certain shapes and dimensions it is because the institutions, political and religious, have failed.

For this reason, gaming cannot be considered an innocent pastime.

  • Dear Casinista932 from your post I understand that peoples are addicted gambling due to state wrong policies.

I accepted your theory but it works in under developing countries. Europe USA etc developed countries where state policies are very open for the welfare of people. If someone is unemployed he gets monthly from state. In my views rich or poor both wants to become millionaire in one click and it's the weakness of human nature.
