DUTCH POLICE SHUT DOWN ONLINE CASINOS

Three Eindhoven men assisting police with their enquiries

The Dutch may be moving toward online gambling legalisation (see previous InfoPowa reports) but they're not there yet, a fact attested to by raids Friday in which seven online casinos were taken off-line and three men detained to assist police in their enquiries into allegations of illegal online gambling.

The publication Casino.nl reported that, following information from the Dutch Gaming Authority, police raiding parties, accompanied by two judge-commissioners, visited a number of premises in Eindhoven in an operation reportedly undertaken by a total of 150 officers.

Three men are reportedly assisting the police with their enquiries: Michel Gregoire (32); his brother Maurice Gregoire (34) and Stijn Flapper (34). There are allegations that very large sums of money are involved, and that charges of laundering monies obtained through the drug trade may be in progress.

Net Gaming Solutions, an online gambling company allegedly associated with the three suspects, was also off-line Saturday amid reports that its claimed Costa Rica operating base and a faux owner identity of Dakota Enterprises SA may have been a ruse designed to cloak the real location and identity of those involved in an illegal online gambling business.

The fact that the Dutch authorities were able to quickly take all of the sites off-line suggests the possibility that the servers were not in Costa Rica at all.

UPDATE: The brothers Gregoire are reportedly also shareholders in a number of Dutch property companies, and allegedly have extensive properties and assets in Spain that include villas, boats and luxury vehicles worth many millions of Euro. It has also been claimed that the suspects own a multi-million Euro online payment company titled Teletik.

Investigations into whether these interests are associated with illegal money streams are currently underway by the National Prosecution Service and the Public Prosecutor's Office, along with the Dutch kansspelautoiteit.

The from Money Laundering aqused Stijn F.  about the raid on Regent in Eindhoven: "I am flabbergasted' (suprised/stunned)

LONDON - Stijn F. was "flabbergasted and shocked" by the raid Friday in the tower The Regent in Eindhoven. He told BBC News that he has done nothing wrong and never had anything to do with drugs-money.
F. is one of the three suspects in a large laundering investigation. Michel G. from Geldrop is seen as a prime suspect. He would have tens of millions of drug money invested in real estate and illegal gambling. Also G. 's brother Maurice is a suspect.

Money from dad's Pavers company.

Stijn F. together with Michel G. own the company Teletick. That engages in online payments and telecom services. F. is for almost half the boss of Teletick.

"In 2004 I started with Michel for the preparations for Teletick. We just wanted to start something together. His father had a small business and seeded some money from his company to ours, we actually started in 2005. In 2007, we kept going and growing.

"Engaged in real estate"

"It started as a joke. But it was a fast growing company. I think I have made a competitor angry because I have no idea which way i should have done anything wrong."

Gambling sites

Stijn F. owns the company Bubble Group, where 55 people work. With the tradename Sheriff Gaming he develops software for the gaming industry. Meanwhile, seven gambling sites are removed from the air.

"It is a legitimate business what we are doing. I always paid my tax and I have never had anything to do with drug money."

Relationship with the two brothers
F. has nothing to say about the two brothers who are suspected from laundering. "Michel and I have had a good relationship decade. Never have we had a fight. But I'm not sure I still have contact with them now."

F.'s  legal adviser says that she does not know where her client is suspected of. The lawyer of the two brothers would not respond.

Top 100 Young Millionaires
Stijn F. and Michel and Maurice G. all three are in the Quote Top 100 Young Millionaires. Stijn F. Quote, according to an output of about eleven million, the brothers G. both have three million.

Well I registered or at least i tried to register and it told me that I wasn't allowed to "register" any more accounts..that's a laugh since I have never heard of this casino before and this is the very first time I have ever tried to register an account there.

So when I got the message telling me that, I double checked my bible (a book that I keep all my casinos in that I register at so I don't duplicate any) and I don't have it listed.  I then tried to login using my details that I use at ALL casinos ( I only have 2 logins that I use) and got the message telling me that username/password doesn't exist.  I then tried to retrieve password thinking that if i'm indeed in the system then my email would show up to email me my password.  Well, it asked me for my username and email and once I keyed that in, it told me I didn't exist so I know that I don't have any other accounts there.

Ok, so this was long-winded I know, but i've exhausted all attempts to prove I don't have a previous account.  Messaged the casino and just waiting on reply.

Oh and btw, thanks for the post.

Well, I'd wait just for a bit longer, to see if anything else happens. That, and I would hurry to withdraw all the winnings, just in case they somehow shut them down.
