Back Zimpler to Put More Focus on iGaming Sector with New Appointments

Zimpler, a popular provider of instant banking solutions and a widely used payment method in online casinos continues to firm its position in the iGaming sector, wanting to establish itself as a choice #1. To achieve so, the company has made several significant appointments in crucial positions such as Head of iGaming, Commercial and Sales Director as well as Business and Product Director for iGaming.

As a part of its plans to deepen its footprint in the digital entertainment sector, the company attended one of the most significant conferences ICE 2024 in London. Held from February 6-8, the event gathered over 800 exhibitors and more than 40,000 attendees, justifying its reputation as Europe’s largest gaming trade show.

Even Stronger Focus on the iGaming Sector

To ensure a higher focus on the iGaming sector, Zimpler appointed Johan Friis as the new Head of iGaming, believing that his strong background in this niche will make an excellent contribution to further expansion plans. Formerly, he acted as the Head of New Solutions and Co-founder.

Also, Annamaria Anastasi assumed the duties of Commercial and Sales Director, whereas Marie Fogmark was welcomed as Business and Product Director for iGaming. With these notable upgrades, as the company sees it, Zimpler will be able to expand its presence in the rapidly growing market of LatAm.

Expressing his satisfaction with the new appointments, Johan Strand, CEO of Zimpler said:

“Johan, Annamaria, and Marie bring the necessary leadership and expertise to navigate the iGaming market. Their skills will be pivotal for Zimpler, particularly as we aim to advance and expand our position in the iGaming sector, focusing on regions like Brazil where there are significant growth opportunities.”

Zimpler Passes Multiple Tests

A couple of years ago, LCB started a project named “From the Players for the Players”, aiming to show players how deposits and withdrawals via different banking methods work, among everything. Zimpler was one of the payment options put under the microscope several times, each time justifying its great reputation.

In July 2022, a tester visited Finland-friendly Alf Casino, going through registering, depositing, playing, and withdrawing. His cashout request amounting to EUR 255 was made and processed on the same day.

During the same month, Cadoola Casino was tested as well, enabling the tester to withdraw EUR 50 via Zimpler in a single day. January 2024 brought the Kanuuna Casino test report, once again confirming that this method is designed to provide swift and minimally hassle-free transactions.

Payment Option that Pushes the Limits

In October 2024, Zimpler Go was integrated into the iGaming PAM platform, developed by Pragmatic Solutions, enabling both sides to accelerate growth. Enabling instant deposits and withdrawals without a fee, this innovative payment option ensures high conversion, unparalleled consumer experience, and decreased risks.

About a month after that, casino operator Frank & Fred also completed the integration of Zimpler Go, representing the pioneering move for its Brazilian division. Aside from increased efficiency and a higher level of reliability, Zimpler Go is also equipped with a tool that can detect whether a person is PEP or under sanctions in the EU or LatAm.
