Registration

Our tester’s journey began on February 22, 2022, when she registered at Lapilanders Casino. To become a member, she needed to go through the 3-step procedure, which required her to enter her login details, some information about herself, and verify her e-mail address.

The second step offers the field for bonus code, but our tester opted not to enter any. Having completed step 2, she received a 4-digit verification code to her e-mail. As soon as she entered it, the tester became a part of the community.

It’s important to note that Lapilanders casino holds the right to charge a fee of EUR 5 (or equivalent in other currencies) or close the inactive accounts if no transactions have been recorded for a period of 6 consecutive months. Such an account becomes dormant/ inactive.

In addition to this, the management may decline to open and/or close an existing account without being obliged to provide any explanation.

Deposit

Following the hassle-free registration process, the tester headed straight to the cashier to fund the account on the very same day, February 22, 2022. She was presented with a couple of predetermined amounts, so she selected USD 200. A thing worth mentioning is that the option to claim a bonus is automatically ticked, so our tester unticked this field and proceeded without any bonuses attached.

As soon as the page loaded, the tester was presented with the available options, so she selected Skrill and deposited USD 200 in her account. She was forwarded to the Skrill page to confirm the transaction. Upon entering the verification code she received via mail, the payment was processed instantly. The money was visible on her casino balance a second later.

The available deposit options include VISA, Trustly, Skrill, Rapid Transfer, Paysafe Card, Neteller, Neosurf, MuchBetter, Mastercard Debit, Mastercard Credit, Klarna, Jeton, Interac, Euteller, ecoPayz, Brite, Boleto Bancario, and Direct Bank Transfer.

According to the Terms, the operator has the right to “decline to accept deposits without any explanation whatsoever”. The minimum deposit amount varies between EUR 15 and EUR 20, depending on the method selected.

KYC Procedure

Before venturing into the portfolio, the tester decided to complete the ID verification procedure. She visited the “Account” section where this option was displayed.

To complete the ID verification process, the tester uploaded the front page of her ID card and a phone bill. As far as the information on the page indicated, as soon as the documents are uploaded, it takes 72 hours to verify them. Once the documents are requested, the player needs to verify the account within 30 days, or the account will be closed.

Having checked out multiple games, the tester decided to upload one more document- proof of payment, which, in her case was confirmation of deposit made via Skrill.

The next day, February 23, 2022, the tester received an e-mail from the casino support team, which asked her to upload a screenshot of Skrill wallet with all account details visible.

As the tester already submitted the requested document the day before, she responded to the mail noting that the URL, account holder details, and payment details are all visible on the said document.

The response arrived the same day, describing precisely what the required document should contain. As explained, a phone number and e-mail address should be visible as well, all of which are displayed on the left side of the account.

A day later, on February 24, 2022, the tester submitted the required document with all the details visible. The support department responded the same day.

“Dear Customer,

We can confirm that we have received your documents.

Your documents will be reviewed by the relevant department as soon as possible, we kindly request your patience.

Once your documents have been accepted, we will notify you accordingly via email.”

However, when trying to initiate withdrawal on February 28, 2022, the tester was notified that her account was still unverified. That’s why she reached out to the support department via e-mail.

The response came in on the same day, stating as follows:

“Your documents have successfully been checked. Please note that we hold the right to ask for further documentation in order to comply with our T&Cs and Anti-money laundering regulations.”

So, the tester asked which documents she needed to submit.

On March 1, 2022, a response arrived informing the tester that her documents were approved and the account verified. It also indicated that additional verification MAY be required.

Players should be aware of the following:

“56.10.1 Please note that when cumulative deposits or withdrawals reach € 2,000, the player verification procedure will be mandatory. The verification process will require players to provide documents such as, but not limited to, identity cards, bank cards, bank statements, source of wealth, source of funds, and utility bills.”

Regarding the necessary documents and the processing timeframe, rules indicate as follows:

“62.1 Payments are processed in a time not exceeding 72 hours starting from the moment that the request has been approved by the Payments Department. Before the first payment is made to the User via electronic payment methods (Skrill, Webmoney, Credit or Debit card, etc.), the client is obliged to upload an electronic copy of a passport of his national ID at the relevant section under his Profile. Lapilanders, at their own discretion, may ask from the client additional documents (e.g. proof of address, selfies, etc.) prior to their first payment.”

Gameplay

As soon as she uploaded the necessary documents for KYC, the tester headed to the lobby and started her gaming session with Take Olympus by BetSoft. Her next choice was Monster Pop by the same developer, after which she launched Rabbit in the Hat.

Following this, she ventured into Dragon Lines Super and Roaming Reels Raging Roosters, where she landed a win of USD 88. Then, she activated Moon Dancer, Nuilang and Zhinu, after which she tried luck with Congo King. South of the Border was the next release she checked out, followed by the Golden Ox.

Having finished playing this game, the tester returned to Roaming Reels Raging Roosters and then launched Power of Gods Hades by Wazdan.

Withdrawal

The tester’s first attempt to withdraw took place on February 28, 2022. She wanted to withdraw USD 50 via Skrill, the same method she used to fund the account. Unfortunately, she was unable to do so because her account was not fully verified.

As it turned out, her account was validated the next day, so she made a new request to withdraw on March 2, 2022. She wanted to cash out USD 50 via Skrill.

Two days later, on March 4, 2022, an e-mail from the casino and the confirmation from Skrill arrived, informing the tester that the request was approved and transferred to her Skrill balance.

These are the relevant rules related to the cashout process:

“9.12 Lapilanders reserves the right to charge the Account Holder for administrative costs resulting from withdrawals made by the Account Holder, as indicated on the Website.”

“62.8 If the User has requested a withdrawal in the amount of 1,000€ or more (or the equivalent in another currency at the interbank rate), Lapilanders pays a commission on the transfer and subsequent operations of withdrawals in the given calendar month. Otherwise, the commission is paid to the bank by the User. The maximum withdrawable amount over a 24-hour period is 1,000€ (or the equivalent in another currency at the interbank rate) subject to its payment provider's specific limits. For winnings over 10,000€, the payments will be done in equal monthly instalments.”

The maximum net winnings in any 24-hour period are limited to EUR 5,000 per account, that is, EUR 50,000 per month. However, the max limit for withdrawal is EUR 7,000 per month, but the exceptions can be made for customers with a higher loyalty ranking.

If a customer wins more than EUR 30,000, the casino reserves the right to divide the payout into monthly installments until the full amount is paid out. If the amount to be withdrawn is larger than €7.000, the remaining amounts will be placed back in the player’s account, and made available for withdrawal in the following month.

Withdrawals (payouts) exceeding more than EUR 2,300 will require additional verification procedures, but the same may be required even with lower sums.

Here are a couple of more rules related to cashouts:

“63.4 A player with 1 deposit only will be eligible to cash out a maximum of 15x the initial deposit amount. All further winnings will be removed from the account upon withdrawal request.

63.5 All progressive jackpot wins will be paid in full.

63.6 Money deposited in the Casino must be used for gaming activity. Due to this, all deposits need to be wagered at least three (3) times.”

Available withdrawal methods include VISA credit, Skrill, Rapid Transfers, Neteller, Neosurf, Mastercard Debit, ecoPayz, Brite, and Direct Bank Transfer.

Conclusion

Even though the stated timeframe for document validation is 72 hours, it took a bit longer for a casino to complete the process. As the timeframe is expressed in hours only, it remains unclear whether 72 hours encompass working days only or weekends are included as well.

As soon as the documents were verified, the tester received the requested amount with no delays and within the indicated timeframe. No fees were charged on this occasion.
