Having launched in late 2022, the company is quite young. Please give us an overview of the history of Aviatrix.

Aviatrix was launched with a clear and strong vision: to deliver the very best crash game on the market. Early on, we realised that the best way to achieve this was to take a different approach to most suppliers. We followed a GaaS (Game-as-a-Service) model, because it meant we could continually improve the game and give players a reason to keep coming back for more.

That was a little over a year ago, and the progress we’ve made since then has been incredible. I joined early on in Aviatrix’s journey, so I’ve been lucky enough to be involved in the action. That’s included launching with some of the biggest operators in the business, seeing millions of players enjoy Aviatrix around the world, and watching our own team grow steadily and become even more ambitious.

There have been many highlights along the way, but picking up some major industry awards - including being named ‘Rising Star in Casino Innovation’ at the SBC Awards and ‘New Casino Game of the Year’ at the SiGMA Europe Awards - was particularly memorable. It’s already been an amazing ride, and we’re only just getting started.

Let’s get into the mechanics of Crash Games and why you’ve placed your focus on them.

I think on the most basic level, crash games have become so successful because there is a fascinating simplicity to them. They are so intuitive; it only takes a few moments to figure out how they work. But equally they have the power to surprise even after lots of repeat play.

We saw an opportunity to elevate the genre, using the GaaS approach I mentioned earlier, to add interesting new features to the base game. For us, that took the form of player personalisation, an in-game flight chart, and planes that could also be owned by players in the form of NFTs.

We’ve built an entire experience around the crash game, and it’s brought it to an entirely new level of excitement.

We realise that the concept of NFTs is still confusing for many. How do you encourage players to explore the NFT gaming experience?

We have worked really hard to simplify the entire process, so more players can enjoy the NFT element of Aviatrix if they so wish. Players don’t need to be particularly blockchain-savvy, and they can easily interact within the game, collecting XP points. We’ve even encouraged them by connecting the NFT planes with our network tournaments, the latest of which has a prize pool of two million euros.

More broadly, we’re also seeing players become increasingly familiar with NFTs. Digital assets and the wider web3 ecosystem are going to play a bigger role for Aviatrix in 2024, and we’ll have some exciting details on that to share soon.

You were present at ICE 2024. How was the experience? Do you find great value in networking and promoting at such events?

ICE London 2024 was a great show for us. We were just getting started during the 2023 edition, so to be able to showcase the amazing progress we’d made in just 12 months was rewarding. We do find a lot of value in industry events, and we like to try to do something a little special wherever we can, notably when we brought a real-life antique plane to SBC Barcelona last year.

We’ve been very active on the global conference circuit, visiting shows across multiple continents. For us, it’s not just a chance to let the world see what we’ve been working on. It’s also the place for us to build those deep and trusting relationships with our partners that enable us to deliver the very best experience to players.

We’re looking forward to hitting the road throughout 2024.

The company ended 2023 with a bang including numerous partnerships, licensing and certificates. What is planned for 2024 and how will these amazing milestones help fulfil the company’s goals?

Regulated markets are definitely a focus for us. It means we open the door to partnerships with some of the biggest gaming brands in the world, and that’s exactly where we want to be. We’ve already licensed or certified in the UK, Greece, Italy, Romania, Georgia and Malta, and we’ll be adding more markets, including Portugal, Spain and Peru, shortly.

We’re also absolutely committed to ensuring Aviatrix keeps improving. This means major new product updates, like powerful bonusing tools and game themes for important global events. Our pipeline is packed full already, and as always, we continue to talk to our partners to learn more about the types of new features they’d like to see in the game.

Aviatrix partnered with several affiliates, including LCB. What is it like to work with affiliates?

In the past, suppliers usually left the affiliate relationships to the operators. We don’t think that way. It’s the visitors to trusted sites like LCB that play Aviatrix, and that’s an opportunity for us to both connect to these players and listen to their feedback. That's why we're laying the foundations for strong cooperation with affiliates such as yourself, and we'll be offering some really cool perks to readers of sites like LCB soon.

Wrapping up, what more would you like our readers to know about the company?

Understandably, most of the focus is on the game we’ve produced. But I’d like to take a quick moment to give a shout out to the people who make all of this possible. There’s a great atmosphere across the team, because we’ve assembled a group which is passionate and dedicated to creating the very best product we can. I’m really happy to have landed at Aviatrix, and play my own part in its success.
