Jean-François Vilotte, president of L’Autorité de régulation des jeux en ligne (ARJEL) of France, will resign as of January 2014.
Vilotte played a major role in opening the French online gambling market in 2010.
It has been reported that Vilotte's will move into the private sector. A press conference will be held sometime this week covering Vilotte’s next steps and who will move into the role.
