Contemporary textiles

Round is a contemporary textile exhibition by textile artist Gail Hawes. An experimental textile artist, she uses unusual materials to explore individuality in a world of mass consumerism. More known for stitched textiles, in this exhibition she includes techniques such as felting, hand dying of hand spun wool and fabric manipulation to explore the subject.
