Obviously (from the number of pictures that I took of the different specimens of Cassiopea), I was fascinated by these jellies. They are so variable, as well as exotic in appearance (and behavior). I found confirmation that C. frondosa occurs in this part of the Dominican Republic. I'm not sure about C. xamachana or C. andromeda... I can't find a resource on-line showing how to tell the difference between the species of Cassiopea. Maybe you need a microscope or some detailed examination not…
