The last 3 scribbles are old, but the rest are new. I just suddenly felt like doing the inbetween-y parts where the boys finally talk about it and the secret is out in the open.
Also, I mused Vye would get some turtle-esque nesting instincts, so she would feel the need to just…go down to the beach. XD
(I feel I cluttered this page a bit, since it wasnt exactly made to be a comic as such, but it didnt feel like enough to post them seperate? Is it too cluttered?? I hope you guys can follow it ToT )
Don wakes up one morning to find Vye gone. While I don’t see him as much of a paranoid parent (Vye gets that role), I could definitely see him being an anxious pregnancy-dad.
So, naturally I saw him barrelling down the streets in the Battle Shell trying to find her- also while trying to maintain the secret.
Compiled some old and new sketches together and decided to colour ‘em - As the title suggests, these are some goofy things I pictured for when Vye is eventually *with mutant-alien child*. Please do not ask exactly how this works, I have slapped on the label “shapeshifting alien womb” and just run with it from there honestly XD It’s all just in good fun.
Contextual Notes below because there’s a fair amount of story behind these;
It’s not a problem when people walk over my freshly mopped areas, but this person just took such a large, dramatic power leap to avoid standing on it I couldn’t help but be almost impressed at the dedication-
Sorry for the lack of art lately - I got a part time job recently!! I’m finally getting used to my new schedule and things are slowing down for christmas too so hopefully I’ll be able to start posting more regularly.
Part of my backlog - just some doodles I did of Myra and Gene together! Including a little snippet of when they met ;u; He spots her drowning her sorrows while he works at a local bar! (I may expand the lore on that later??)
I figure even though Gene likes old movies and tech, he still uses and keeps up to date with things in the modern era. Myra, on the other hand…Let’s just say she probably isn’t fond of them :’)
Also purely for this gag page I see Gene having the *smallest* bit of pyrokinesis. But it literally only gets him as far as lighting a cigarette and he doesn’t like using it much beyond that.
