I am Kumar Abhishek, currently working as a Data Scientist with the RealDocNG Data Science team at Altisource Labs. I work on problems related to image processing and machine learning. Previously, I was employed with Wipro Ltd. as a Project Engineer, where I mostly worked on applying machine learning algorithms to build POCs for potential clients.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati in June 2015. My Bachelor Thesis Project was on “Summarization and Visualization of Large Volumes of Broadcast News Videos”, and I was advised by Prof. Prithwijit Guha, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, IIT Guwahati.
Currently, I am venturing my time in getting acquainted to the domain of Deep Learning applied to Computer Vision. I wish to pursue graduate studies and take up academic research in subjects that lie at the intersection of Image Processing, Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
