1. About Kamerastore.com

Kameratori Oy (business ID 2375606-2) manages the web store kamerastore.com, through which new and used items are sold. These general terms and conditions are applied to all orders that are made through Kamerastore.com.

This web store complies with the Consumer Protection Act of Finland.


2. Making an Order

Sales are completed between the customer and the seller whose product the customer has ordered through the Kamerastore.com. Each product’s seller is declared in the respective product information.

The seller receives the customer’s order after the customer has agreed to these general terms and conditions and paid for their order. After the order is completed, it cannot be cancelled through the web store anymore. If the customer wishes to cancel their order, they must contact the seller.

When the customer has paid for the product, they will receive an order confirmation to the email address that they have provided. Any contact information provided by the customer will only be used to fulfil the customer’s order, to send the product to the customer and to process possible customer complaints.


3. Delivery Methods & Costs

Delivery Methods

Delivery methods, options, and prices, will be clearly displayed at checkout after selecting a shipping destination country. All delivery methods provide the customer with a tracking number and package insurance.

For international deliveries, we use UPS or PostNord, depending on the availability and the destination country. Please note, we do not deliver to PO boxes, so be sure to provide a physical address during checkout.

Customers in Finland will have the option of Budbee or PostNord pick-up points or home delivery.

Pickup
Orders may be picked up in person free of charge by selecting “Pick Up” at checkout and following the instructions. 

Delivery Costs

Each order has various flat-rate shipping options starting at 3,90€ within Finland and 12,90€ internationally. Prices vary by country and product quantity. More detailed information can be found here.

If any products in the order contain a Finnish VAT of 25,5%, then there will be an additional 25,5% VAT included in the flat-rate shipping fee, which will be displayed during the checkout process. 

Returns and refunds for items delivered follow the conditions of our Refund Policy. For any delivery complaint inquiries please view Section 12 in this document.

Customs & Duties

We are not responsible for paying any duties or customs fees. Please be aware of your customs obligations for shipments coming from Finland (our location). The value we declare on your package will be equal to your order total. Read more about VAT & customs here.

 

4. Terms of Payments

Our payment provider is Paytrail Oyj and thus our terms of payment match theirs which can be read in full here: https://www.paytrail.com/en/terms-and-conditions

5. Returns & Cancellations

Returns & cancellations are accepted for any reason, provided that the customer notifies the seller of their intent to return with 30 days of receiving the product(s) and that the customer has not altered the product(s) function or appearance.

The customer must return the product(s) to the seller within 30 days of giving the return/cancellation notice, otherwise Kameratori Oy has the right to void the return/ cancellation. 

To make a return or cancellation request, contact us using the contact details displayed on the order’s invoice. Returns can be made at our Tampere location or by Post.

When sending back a product, the customer must package it safely and deliver it to the seller. The customer must attach the original order confirmation and the customer’s contact information and payment information to the package.

Return Shipping Payee

  1. Kameratori Oy pays return shipping if:
    The item received is not as described in its unique item condition ratings.
  2. Customer pays return shipping if:
    The item received is as described in its unique item condition ratings.

    Example: A customer decides they no longer want the product (within the return period) or discovers they’ve ordered incompatible products.

Return Shipping Price

In the case of scenario 1, Kameratori Oy will arrange shipping and pay shipping costs, there is no charge to the customer.

In the case of scenario 2, the customer can choose a packing and shipping method that is convenient for them, and pay the cost due for the service of their choice. 


6. Refunds

When possible, the payment will be returned using the same payment method that the customer used to pay for the order.

Kameratori Oy returns the payment to the customer, if the criteria for a returns and cancellations described on this page have been met. 

If the reason for the return is because an error has been made by Kameratori Oy (such as sending the wrong item, or item not as described), a refund is also valid. The customer must also attach the original order confirmation, contact information, and payment information to the package.


7. Warranty Policy

Our warranty guarantees that should items develop any faults not documented in the product description and within the warranty period, we will repair, replace, or refund that item.

Products under Warranty:

  • Products with a used item condition of "Restored" include a 12 month warranty.
  • "Certified" & "Passed" items include a 6 month warranty.
  • "Not Passed" items have no warranty, but are still covered by our 30d refund policy.

Scope of Warranty:

Warranty is valid only for items advertised as having a warranty. The warranty length is as-advertised on the product's page (for example 6 or 12 months) beginning on the date your product is delivered.

This warranty covers all mechanical and electrical failures and malfunctions which develop within the warranty period and have not been caused by misuse.

Out of Scope of Warranty:

Cosmetic damage or deterioration is not covered by warranty.
Theft or loss is not covered by warranty.
Damage caused by “Misuse” is not covered by warranty.

Examples of misuse:

  • Repairs or services performed on the device by any individual, company, or organization.
  • Misuse such as overly forceful handling or abuse of the device.
  • Intentional damage or breakage of the item.
  • Accidental damage caused by lack of care for the item.

Warranty Claim Process:

If a warranty claim is requested, the warranty holder must email Kamerastore within the warranty period and within 14 days of the fault occurring. After initial communication the warranty holder will be given instructions on how to return the item to Kamerastore for inspection. Warranty holder will pay for shipping, there are no other fees involved (such as a deductible).

Kamerastore will diagnose the failures or malfunctions (within 30 days) and make an honest effort to reasonably evaluate if the faults are within the scope of warranty.

In the case of approval, Kamerastore will uphold the warranty by providing mechanical repair. If not possible, Kamerastore will offer a replacement. If not possible, Kamerastore will offer full refund. In the case of a refund the Warranty Holder may choose between a gift card or bank transfer.

 

8. Pricing

Item-specific tax requirements are displayed immediately below a products price on product pages. If tax is required or deductible, it is included in the displayed price.

For items with non-deductible VAT (such as used items), the following text will display below the price:

  • “Used item, no tax.”

For items with VAT (such as unused items), the following text will display below the price:

  • “Tax included (EU only).”


9. Pricing Errors & Force Majeure

The seller reserves the right to cancel the order if the pricing for the product on Kamerastore.com is clearly incorrect. Pricing is considered clearly incorrect if the product’s given price is so apparently different to the correct price that the customer has to have understood the pricing was incorrect. The seller is not responsible for any delays or damages that are caused by circumstances that are beyond the control of the seller and that the seller cannot have reasonably predicted or avoided.  

 

10. Other Cancellation Rights 

In case the product that the customer has ordered is not available due to a supply error, or there has been a clear mistake in the pricing, Kameratori Oy reserves the right to cancel the order and return the payment to the customer.


11. Changing General Terms & Conditions

Kameratori Oy reserves the right to change these general terms and conditions without prior notice. The terms that are applied to an order are the general terms and conditions in effect at the moment of making the order.


12. Reclaims/Complaints

All reclaims must be delivered in writing by email or letter to Kameratori Oy.

The customer has the right to take the conflicts between the seller to the Consumer Dispute Board to be solved. Before this the the customer must contact the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority. If a disclosure is not found in these negotiations, the customer can take the dispute to the District Court of the sellers city.

In the event of disputes arising from purchases within the European Union, customers are instructed to initiate conflict resolution by filing a complaint through the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
