Peer Review

We carry out a rigorous and fair, double blind peer review system that is designed to evaluate the scientific quality of submissions or their applied impact, as appropriate.

The assessment criteria focuses, for example, on methodological soundness and the clarity of communication. Normally we recruit at least two independent reviewers to comment on the submission. We maintain a database of potential reviewers, and will invite relevant experts who are knowledgeable in the relevant field.

We aim to reach a decision between 6-8 weeks after submission, but will keep authors informed about progression of the submission.
