This is actually really interesting. Fun little puzzler.

Its simple but fun. I honestly found it very morish I kept wanting to see what the next ship was going to be which made it hard to put down. Your core loop is very fun, I think with some more iterations this could be a really fun little game. Also I wish I had a Jam streak show off 😆

Honestly this was delightful, I never knew I wanted Grow Home X Piano tiles X Tomodachi life life voices but here we are. The art was pretty basic but I actually think that is one of its strengths, the voice lines added so much character to the game and turned what would have been a completely fine place holder asset into an enduring little robot. I did find that it was sometimes hard to select the correct hand but other than, that I didn't encounter any major bugs.

Really looking forward to seeing what you do next.

You've got a really fun gameplay loop here. I love being able to use scrap from the enemies to upgrade my buildings and for that to give actual gameplay benefits. I also really like the visual feedback of the building area changing as you upgrade it. Really conveys a sense on progression to the player.

I think the combat mechanics and enemies need a few more iterations to make them feel more dynamic, also maybe the camera zooms in a little to far during combat. I think a cool idea might also be to fold the building and fighting area into one giving and making the enemies attack the buildings as well. Though I realise that would also inflate the scape massively.

I had great fun playing this, I really hope you keep iterating on it, you've got a really good core loop

Hello! Thank you so much for playing Holler Up High game and featuring in your video. I've never had someone do that before and it has honestly put the goofiest grin on my face. Its  also just really good to see the games actually works on anything other than my pc and 10 year old laptop .

I agree with your feedback about the lack of polish, I could have done a lot more to make the game feel finished and add more of the "juice" everyone is always raving about (with good reason).  I would have also liked to have expand on presenting obstacles  that require the player to have fine control over the balloon size. Maybe an optional challenge where the player can attempt to keep the balloon scale within a certain range for bonus points without making it harder for less skilled players?

Also to answer your question on how the game fits the theme of the jam the balloons size scales up and down depending on the volume you speak at. I took the theme very literally mostly because I just wanted to play around with the silly voice idea haha.

Thanks again!

Took a second to figure it out but as soon as I did... WOW! Well done! Ui could use a bit of work since its not always  what type of portal your about to shoot but this is just nit picking. Great job, going to come back and 100% this later.

Really fun puzzle game. I think maybe reducing the of moving flies around might be good since it can be a bit distracting but overall I really liked this.

This game has  helluva style and creativity, the gameplay can get a tad repetitive but I recon that just the time limit comin inta play.

I love the idea of scaling different parts of objects to different sizes to make truly strange  things.

I love this idea and is a really interesting take on the theme. It was a bit hard to control at times and I wish the ball wasn't as bouncy but I had great fun playing it!

This was truly lovely, thank you for making this game.  It reminds me of Cubism, I can easily imagine assembling this shapes in a cosy VR world.

It really depends how importing testing the players ability to aim is for the intended gameplay.  Though really I am just nit picking, I love this game.

I drew a duck 10/10

I drew a duck... I like ducks.

This was really fun, its amazing how much you got done in the short time. The game concept is really interesting I could see this "easily" being expanded into a full title. My only wish would be for the aiming line to extend infinitely especially  for the mirrors.

Nice! I think my record was a around 10k... This is the bit where I don't mention the fact that this was before the enemies were added.

I'm sorry about that. Thank you for giving it a go though, I'll check out your game later.

That was great fun! You know its a good game when you complete it without even meaning to. Honestly the only thing I wish it had is a magnet upgrades to pull gems towards you. The sound for that would be incredible.

Conceptually and visually this game is stunning, my only wish is for the controls to feel a bit tighter.

This game is really cute! Love the art style. I think  the game might need a bit of balancing, maybe reducing the number of projectiles on screen? Also some feedback for hitting enemies would be nice. Still love this game, great job!

Wow, I love this idea, didn't expect to see anther game that uses the microphone like mine. I can't seem to get it working though no matter what microphone I select or which browser I use. Do you have any idea how I can get it to work? Going to hold off my rating until I can play it properly. Can't wait to give it a shot!

This is great! Such a fun take on the theme!

Loved this game at expo and the fact that you made this resource publicly available is amazing!  Can't wait to read through it.

I adore this gem. Played it at expo with my Dad who doesn't know a dpad from a joystick and yet he was able to pick it up straight away and have fun.

Hard but I love the idea.

A fun little game, really enjoyed playing it. At times it was hard to see what I was shooting at so moving the bow down a little might be a good idea. Also, I think if it had some juicy sound effects the game could become really satisfying.

I enjoyed playing it a lot. It was fun dealing with the different enemy types and something about the player's walking animation just made me laugh.

The combination of crafting and rouge-like gameplay was really interesting and unique, something I hadn't seen before.

I did encounter a fairly major bug where I couldn't craft or collect anything because I filled my inventory will wood and stone with no way to dump it. This seems pretty major since the presence of a  crafting system does encourage players to collect resources on mass(Fallout 4 duct tape style). Items would still get collected but as far as I could tell they got deleted which is a shame.

Bug aside it was really fun playing this game.

Well, that was terrifying... Love it!

Just finished playing the first level and it was really fun! Love the idea of the Powerwash simulator meets Luigi mansion.

My in no way biased review of this game. 10/10 game of the year.

Thanks.

Fun fact: I've got an updated version of this game somewhere in the unknown depths of my PC that uses inverse kinematics to drive the tails and tentacles of the enemies. I just forgot to upload it haha!

This is a really interesting puzzle game I had a blast playing it, I think the visuals could use a bit of work and the lack of any audio is a bit of a bummer but I found the game-play it's self really enjoyable. I really hope you continue working on it, I want to play more.

That's an interesting idea. I'm not sure it would work considering how fast some of the enemies travel they'd probably just self destruct before getting to the player. I might make it so the enemies can damage each other. As an example if a Squid hits some Rays while charging then maybe the rays could be defeated, this could also help to prevent the player from getting swarmed.

Yeah there isn't much in the way of player feedback. Defiantly a point to be improved upon.

I really like the art and animation for this game. It generally feels very floaty and I think it would benefit massively from the removal of the anticipation frames from the jump animation. I love the sound design especially the music, it sets the tone really nicely.

This is really funny, I love the art style and sense of humour.

This is really interesting and I had a lot of fun playing it, I love how the player is forced to think fast so that they can find the best rout thought he level that.

This is way to fun. Having trouble pulling myself away.

This is brilliant! It feels grate to play and has really good presentation.

All the mechanics work as you'd expect them to and I enjoy the balls rolling into infinity. It's a shame the only the gun get transported when the player collides with the white areas and it would be useful to have a cross hair. Over all I had a good time playing it though you kight want to fix the download and pun compressing issues.

Both the Gun and Health worked without a problem and the pause function worked like a charm. With pickup for some reason when I dropped the cylinder it would sometimes fall to the side and the UI was a bit to close to the centre. Overall it's a really good tool box with only a few minor bugs. 👍
