In some areas of the West, soiled doves were required to buy and post licenses. The funds for those licenses paid for public services such as law enforcement. Posting a photograph alongside the license was an advertising ploy. Women of ill repute often placed their picture and license in the parlors of the brothels to tempt clients. Those pictures highlighted the proprietor’s assets.

Visit some unusual structures of the world that are built weirdly. These strange and unique buildings have exclusive designs to attract tourists.

There’s an undeniable allure to watching how the shadow perfectly lines up with the pavement. Or how the tiles align in shockingly neat repetitive patterns. Or how the trees and leaves present themselves in ideal forms and harmony. It’s hard to explain why these everyday oddities look so dreamy, but tapping into these moments of magic seems to scratch an itch we didn't even know we had.

Yet for some people, nature had a secret plan hidden up its sleeve. It defined that these people would be unique and outstanding no matter whether it was in style or not.
