To be heard and understood

We all long to be seen, heard, and understood. But most of the time, I experience the opposite — invalidated.

Remember, listening to your heart doesn't mean dismissing your thoughts or rationale. It means giving your emotions a chance to be heard and understood. It's a step towards finding a balance between what you feel and what you think. Be patient with yourself during this process. Your emotions are a part of you, and they hold valuable insights that can lead to personal growth and understanding.😌

Too worried about what our response will be, we miss understanding what is really being said. We think we've got that figured out in the first few words of what we hear, or even before they have spoken sometimes..in fact we haven't begun to understand what's being said.

It’s something special to be heard and understood without ever saying a word. Those people are rare … they get you on an energetic level. You just vibe with them.
