If we took a trip back in history, we notice various kinds of mosaic art: each with a different technique, perspective and name. The name “Opus Vermiculatum” was invented by Romans to illustrate the art of mosaics made out of tiny and minuscule Tesserae called “Vermiculi” (little worms).
